Can't help but think that if they take it away people will just call that removing content too. But tere's definitely different ways it could be set up after final shape or whenever. As far as the burnout that's kind of ultimately up to the person but one thing I can say from not having played much lately is that when you're not playing a lot of these posts do look like they are from people suffering from burnout. And it's weird because when you're playing it seems less like that.

This topic again, smh. What's funny about it is that when people complained about it the first time, the game was set up how op is asking for cause there was no seasonal model lol. Anyway, there is nothing bungie can do to prevent burnout. They're trying to help yall this season with no level increase, which means you can actually play less and not be behind, and yet yall still somehow feel 'burnout' lol. You want to not feel burnout? There is a simple solution: take a break from playing. That's it. Cause only you can stop that feeling. And you know what? It's ok to take a break. The game will be here when you come back.

I work full time, evening shift so I don't really get to do much after work, still not burnt out because I don't religiously play the game.

In the end, we make time for stuff we care about. Or learn to maximize what time we have. School and work balance or just waiting till the weekend. The rhythm is fairly easy to pick up in Destiny. I don’t have that issue much since I have to rely on LFG for most things

I have the opposite issue, with no pinnacle grind and as a mostly solo player, I've found the game incredibly boring. I might still finish my season pass, but I've been going back to FF14 and just bought Diablo 4 which I'll be grinding a bit of this weekend. It's been hard to take D2 seriously for awhile now, for me it has just turned into a fun way to kill 2-3 hours a night shooting aliens with cool guns, but even that has started to wear off this season and there's really nothing to play for for me anymore.

Burnout is your problem Play other games, do other things

I work 18hrs per day, 6 days a week. The issue is that Bungie is producing super shallow and passionless content for this game since post TWQ expansion (S17). Even working this much - I have no issue getting through all of the shallow content delivered each week in an hour and by the end of the expansion year, I have all of the weapon frames. But, I don’t concern myself with collecting all the weapon frames during the season they release on BC they’ll eventually complete over the course of the year & have make up deepsight acquisitions at the end of the year. I’d rather Bungie go back to their precedent set between 2015-2022 and deliver tons of AAA quality content for us to chew through over the Indy studio quality shallow garbage we’ve been getting since TWQ.

If you feel burnt out, then I call that a failure in game design. If I’m having fun playing any game, I can play it for days and not feel burnt out. That’s me though. If you feel burnt out playing a game, then that’s probably a failure in the game’s design. This game is a failure though, regardless. A broken failure! 🤣 Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!🤣

Because of their broken engine and very poor coding, they removed half the game's content, and that is part of the reason seasons are removed. You are far better off playing the lotto than ever having hope for this business to care about a product they are about to drop to focus on Marathon/matter. D1 started out with 90% of the loot in the game's activities, the shop was added later with the BS loot boxes, but, it didn't take away from the game as D2 stupid shop has. D2 literally started out a barebone disaster that was one of the biggest flops in gaming because this business shoved the shop in the player's face instead of designing a game. Since then, and especially since Activision left things have gotten a hell of a lot worse with the shop, monetization, charging content separately, paywalls, price gouging, the quality, play testing, and effort being put into the game. Oh, and the added bonus of how 90% of the Streamers support the business, vs the community, Awesome!

I recommend not trying so hard. The game is not in a good of place for new players or those needing fireteams. Player pool is dropping BIG TIME

The Telesto thing was a really bad idea that served no purpose other than some fun (for some people) which was also not helped by bad timing being released when the game was struggling. I know that timing isn’t their fault but it didn’t help an already bad idea

Easiest way to "prevent burnout" is to stop playing. You can't get burnt out if you ain't there.

Seasonal model has become stale; boring; short wasteful filler content: go do this; see him; talk to her; go there; continues next week, drab drab drab content.

Hated seasons when they were announced and hate them more now. I’ve been here from the start, so I’ll stick it out. Destiny has come a long way…..the wrong way.

As a working family man myself. You can't compete on the same level of gaming as a younger less employed or, less responsible (no kids etc...) player in any onlinevgame. Life is about choice man. Just play what you can when you can. So you may miss out on doing multiple raids or every weeks activity. Accept that. Play what you can that is fun. Ignore the rest. This game is like an all you can eat buffet. You don't have the time or stomach to try a full portion of everything. Just try and fill your small plate with what makes you happy. The gluttons have different motivations. As for the negative guys spewing BS about Marathon blah blah blah it's the same stuff they spewed during D1 taken king about D2 before release word for word. These negative people aren't getting laid. If they got laid they wouldn't be on here trashing a company for a hobby all day every day.

Better idea: prevent your own burnout & stop asking others to protect you from yourself.

Never been complicated for me. Just play when it's fun for you, and don't when it isn't.
