I’m enjoying SBMM still.
I’ve got a friend who’s probably playing PvP more than PvE for the first season ever, and probably playing more PvP than he’s ever played in a single season too. And that’s thanks to both SBMM and FTBMM.

Maybe I am getting better. Maybe I’m not. I have good matches, I have ok or bad matches. Maybe I’m bouncing between skill brackets/ranges. I do have an enjoyable time during matches. That’s what I care about most. I don’t feel like I have to use any loadout. MM times are good, connection quality is the same it is in CBMM playlists, while Immortal is used in the lobbies I play in, it’s pretty rare. I see more Jotunn than I do Immortal. lol If Bungie takes away my casual matches by removing SBMM, I’ll understand, because there’s a bunch of players who are having poor quality matches. I won’t be pleased. But at least for right now, PvP is enjoyable in my skill range.
