In my humble, insignificant opinion: Bungie should make Guardian Ranks guildable: for example after you get to the max in a season (11), your overall highest is updated with +1, similar to seal guilding. Say you get to Rank 11 this season, so when you reset next season, according to their recent post it will only show 11. But if they add a guilding-like feature to Guardian Ranks then if you get rank 11 next season, your shown rank is now 12, etc. I think this would add a better sense of progression and showing of seasonal mastery.
