Hot take... Maybe?
Should well of radiance be removed? I'm not a warlock player at all but I do understand warlock players are bored of using it?
If I would have been a lock player only I think I actually would have wanted to remove it because you are in many many groups stuck with using it. And don't bother with git gud, I will ignore an answer like that ohh so much. But are lock players bored of being "forced" to use it?

None of the “solutions” here really address the problem: the rest of the stoppers just aren’t useful for big dps. I don’t think starfire protocol actually does anything more special than other classes are capable of. It’s just that warlocks are now able to do a lot of damage whereas before they were stuck doing support a lot of the time because nova was lackluster and chaos reach ales too long and doesn’t do enough damage. They should make the other warlock subclasses more capable of burst damage. It would be a shame for starfire protocol, and exotic that languished in obscurity for years to be nerfed as soon as it was good. But that’s being a warlock. As soon as we are good, we get nerfed. Or they take away our identity and we get stuck doing well. Bring back Phoenix Protocol or make Stag work in well. Give us a super that is useful. I personally loved an Agers Sceptre. I also think boss and encounter design plays a big roll in this as well.

1 返信I think that the way they will end up nerfing it is taking a swing at it's duration. It can't get a nerf to damage buff since that would hurt all radiance sources, Bungie has publicly defended well's really amped health regen, and they purposely made it give damage resistance. The only way I see it being nerfed is either seeing it's duration take a major hit or reducing the sword's health value in PvE. (Remember that the sword gains more health based on resistance stat)

I'd agree to remove it and change it with another Super. Well kinda monopolized many Boss fights combined with Bungie's staple [i]"Boss is immune, do stuff to make it vulnerable, now eveyrone stands still in the same spot and shot at it".[/i]

1 返信Give bubble it’s 35% damage buff back. But make it so that if you go into a well, you lose weapons of light and just get the well of radiance buff. This would make well the safer option and have bubble be the riskier option with a better damage payoff. This would also help with the need for warlocks with well.

I know, Bungie could design encounters to make well irrelevant, but honestly it's just much easier to remove/nerf it, but it's never going to be done, because majority of players are going to become furious. Adding it in the first place or not balancing it in Forsaken is Bungie's biggest mistake
