If we know the answer to that, then we know the answer here without even needing a Lightbearer in the equation. No I believe the not-so-great effects of “lightbearing” are immortality and infertility. The light sterilizes you, essentially.

Yes, but its bungle so it won't be a new child, just reskinned. Just pretend to not notice those extra limbs and love it while it's looking.
