I guess people don't miss her that much. I always kinda liked her character and her backstory, and I hoped they would've done more with her.

Loved or not, she was a background character that for years was confined into an hangar selling blu-green Sparrows/Ships. And that's it. Her death was pointless... just a weak attempt to make players emontionally engaged into the story.

1 返信She was probably my favorite overall character in Destiny and she's had quite a bit of content over the years, granted mainly as air support. Overall, not a bad way to go, just Bungies writing and cutscenes have really gone down hill since they implemented the seasonal content. Real question is why did they feel the need to kill her off. VA quit? Trying to save a some dollars? or will she walk into Zavalas office at the end of the season as a guardian?

2 通の返信Gotta actually develop a character to make people care about when they die. 2 weeks of having voicelines and a pretty cutscene just isn't enough to make the majority give a damn, myself included. That's specifically why it was cayde who died in forsaken because he was the ONLY developed character at the time and even then by the standards of other modern games he had tons of room to make players like him more before killing him off

1 返信They dropped her backstory last week like that wasn’t the most obvious tell she wasn’t gonna last past this season. I mean she’s been in the destiny universe for nearly a decade and this is the first and apparently last time we find anything out about her as a character. Deaths don’t mean anything when we all know they are more than likely gonna revive her anyway

4 通の返信I put up a post and it got down voted lol. She will be made a guardian. She won’t remember who Uldren was, Cayde or anything else. Perfect way around her issue. I wonder if she’ll have that southern draw when resurrected. I’d assume Fynch will unfortunately be her ghost.

It was poorly executed. I’ve seen people say the explosion came out of no where - it didn’t. What made it seem that way was the alarm stopped so you thought she wasn’t going to die. The alarm should have kept counting down and it would have made more sense x

Cause its a stupid script. Her death has 0 impact. No one cares about her as a character. She was just there forgotten. Giving her a couple of cutscenes out of the blue and then killing her off is not what good writing is. If they expanded and involved her more over the years, maybe people would have cared. Even the death scene itself is really dumb.

3 通の返信I've let go of the story, is Amanda still in the tower? Who's going to replace the ship dealer?
