Remember just a month ago, when we were fast and sleek killing machines? Now.....I slog around at half speed getting one shotted by everyone and everything. I am slower and much less powerful. What happened to the Super Hero fantasy? This whole thing wreaks of Vanilla Destiny 2.

I understand the changes, but removing easier match make when people ask for more. Making the default diff really hard for casuals and new players. The exact opposite what people wanted. We wanted more optional difficulty, matchmaking. Not harder base game that screws new players and casuals.

GMs too easy? Master content too easy? Fine. Bring GMs to -50, master everything to -35, introduce 10+ modifiers and then give us back our game the way it used to be. Plenty of content for hardcore players to play day and night trying to get one GM done per season. Don't ruin the entire game for everyone else...

The game is still pretty easy. Some legend stuff is a challange like the Vexscaliber Quest and solo lost sectors but other than that it's still pretty easy. Not done any master content yet but I'm guessing it's pretty tough.

If this is what you think D2 Vanilla was like, please get out. That -blam!- was unbearable, slow, and unengaging. This is NOTHING compared to that.

My guardians went from being powerful to being all powerful gods with the easy builds we have available this season.

Jinxにより編集済み: 3/23/2023 7:26:06 AMI don't think difficulty is canon. The canon is base difficulty, and we don't have the abilities of an actual guardian. I've come more and more to the conclusion that the game is about experiencing the events of other people. For instance lightfall, you're sorta playing the part of Osiris, for season of defiance you're playing from the position of crow, you are basically a place holder for the character that's side lined. It's difficult to explain really but it kinda feels like the reason you don't have a real story is because you... sorta don't exist. You're an anyman. You're a Segway to experience different people's experiences from your point of view. Uh... ah. Say you're reading a book or watching a movie and you day dream inserting your self into that story. Well, for you to do that, anything that you do in the universe requires other characters to be side lined. That's what the guardian is. An outside observer pushing them selves into the narrative.

DeusMuerteにより編集済み: 3/23/2023 11:09:22 PMWe were powerful in Destiny 1. Killing gods, slaying kings, deal with siva... In Destiny 2 we become weaker and weaker, year after year, from filled with light Ghoul and Riven to giant R-202 (he become just a public event enemy) and strange looking dudes with thin legs and arms happen to be most dangerous creatures in galaxy but like lolly pop party's and pink color... What a ****!

This is why black desert online and eso are my main games now done over 8000hrs in destiny and the difficulty changes ruined any potential fun this game provided before the update Let the no lifers suffer when final shape becomes a season instead of dlc due to player count dropping

The avalon mission is like dental surgery solo. (Not even the legend one) Half a mag of machine gun ammo to kill a red harpy on the mote section. Why am I playing this is asked myself repeatedly. I have to cheese the avalon boss and I had to cheese Calus twice(so far). You shouldn't need to play the game for a living to comfortably navigate standard content.

Think the game leads are looking to put thier own stamp on the game, so far I'm not really impressed.

That was the line Bungie was selling us for the longest time. How ever it is a fantasy now. I've not bought Lightfall nor Season 20. I've lots to do with the rest of the game I did buy. I don't grind. I get in figure what I want to accomplish and do it. Power etc mean nothing anymore. I'm not doing IB this go around. Just don' t havre the same enthusiasm for the game.
-
The power fantasy is still there. Strand absolutely clears entire rooms of enemies with ease, and it's not even the best subclass in the game. The game is way more fun now that enemies don't fall over with the wind.
What happened to the Super Hero fantasy?
We're in the getting our butts kicks arc now.

We have been “level neutered” for more “difficulty”. Unless you are planning to play 8 hours a day, endgame content does not exist. Great plan to expand the playerbase.🤣
