Tower/ planets have no players & Can't matchmake when by myself
2 issues in 1 For the past week,
Every time this week when i went to the to the tower, tower is empty, usually this wouldn't be a problem, but I also notice on patrols on the planets, no one is there either, and it has been like this for a while.
To add to this, when I try to get into matchmade content, I can't seem to match with anyone, at all. PvE content I end up loading in by myself for all activities. Games with PvP I remain searching for some time but I ultimately don't match with other players.
I have only found 1 fix so far so I can play with everything working normally, and that is being in a fireteam. When I join friends, the tower/planet issue and matchmaking issues go away.... Until the next time I play then then I can't matchmake with anyone again.
While I do have a "fix" currently, and it seems rather isolated, this issue for me does make things difficult for playing some content.

Update (ish): Post week reset, initially posted Issue is still apparent for me (total time around a week at this time), still unable to matchmake and social areas are still empty of all players when playing solo. I decided to experiment, and enabled crossplay between my xbox and playstation to see if the issue would persist across platforms. the issue seems to be happening specifically when I log into my account on xbox. On my playstation, now with cross save enabled, it seems everything is working perfectly fine, tower is full of players and so on, but id need to re-pay for my expansions... I'm not sure xbox team can help me with this as this network connection issue seems to be only happening on Destiny, which makes me think there is an issue on the destiny end rather than my console. Don't want to pay twice to play the content once
