So far 450,000 player have played trials this weekend. Congrats. 340,000 failed to get to the lighthouse. Do you really want 340,000 players feeling like crap for not getting there Bungie? That's a huge amount of the player base disappointed and upset.

One reason I’ll never play it. The changes they made this season and the next aren’t enough to convince me to even attempt a game. They can try to advertise it to me all they want. I don’t need the stress that comes from that playlist in my life right now. Not everyone can play trials.

Ruuodにより編集済み: 3/22/2023 12:22:51 AMI just wanted to farm rank. Impossible as a solo given the 300k plebs pouring into trials as they found out that there is nice loot. Just stay away of endgame activities if you're not willing to put time into it. If they feel sad I'm glad. They should. Their selfish behavior and attitude steals other peoples time as it significantly slowed my progress in farming.

2 通の返信So free adepts for all 450,000? In a game mode that has a mixture of high level skill players to lower skill players and everything in between? Sounds like free loot to me.

4 通の返信There should be a card that is a one time purchase that once 15 game wins are acquired with any loss you can go to the light house for 1 weapon only. That means that the other passages trips to the lighthouses would need to be better. Other card ideas. Passage of Nobility Once Lighthouse has been achieved run this card to face other players with this card. Rewards Every game a trials weapon Every other game win an adept weapon with double perks trials memento increased drop rate Ascendant shards and Ascendant alloys Passage of perseverance One time purchase once 15 wins are achieved with any number of losses you may go to the lighthouse Rewards 1 adept Passage of mercy Same as before Rewards Normal flawless rewards Passage of Greed Same as passage of wealth

ProbablyJoshにより編集済み: 3/21/2023 3:14:16 AMThis. This right here is the problem. YOU not managing your expectations. Not the game mode. The point of trials is to get some nice gear THAT SHOULD BE YOUR GOAL. Lighthouse should not be your goal unless you've put in the time and practice to get there. The lighthouse is a small bonus for those that put in the time it is not the entire point of the mode. Player entitlement thinking that they should automatically go to the lighthouse while simultaneously refusing to put in the time and effort to practice PvP is the problem with trials. No one gonna talk about how FBMM is giving solo's/duos EXACTLY what they asked Bungie for (not playing against 3 stacks), no one gonna talk about how for a year or so it's been possible to gain literally everything accept adepts without ever winning a match which is exactly what players asked for. We're not gonna talk about flawless pool allowing absolutely everyone that puts in even a tiny amount of practice to get there. No no no we're all gonna cry because we're not capable of 7 in a row and it's everyone else's fault not our own. Like sorry but it's become the casuals that are infinitely more toxic than anyone that actually plays and likes the mode now, and I'm not even that good but I can bet people still gonna come at me like I'm a top player Tryna gatekeep lol

I absolutely enjoyed it this weekend. Also, its not a big deal if you dont manage to get flawless. You can farm reputation at saint-14 until you get his immortal and afterwards you can focus engrams to get a good roll.

1 返信I really enjoyed it and I’m not a pvp player. In fact, I managed to go flawless solo queuing. I think it’s finally in a good place where it’s now more accessible to players. And being able to farm rep whether you win or lose is great. All your locked out of is adept weapons if you can’t flawless. Dunno why this game mode gets so much hate

I liked the changes. Imo it makes 2man trials the most optimal way to play it. 7/8 matches the random is bad. And to make up for it, its optimal to run as a shadebinder warlock with stasis turrets to replace your own random with.
-
1 返信I will never understand this mindset. I played plenty of games this weekend. Some solo, some with clan mates and never went flawless with them. I played yesterday with two randoms from LFG and boom we clicked and went to the lighthouse. I am by no means a good player, but I didnt run to the forums, or reddit, or anywhere else to complain because I did not go flawless. I just kept playing. You get the new smg at rank 10 play until you unlock it, focus engrams and get the gun.

3 通の返信Asylumにより編集済み: 3/20/2023 11:43:00 PMTrials has been a joke since it was called "trials of the nine" Not even worth playing, no actual mm, teams are always heavily lop sided, skill doesnt exist only meta. Just a joke of a game mode and in no way should be called "competitive". Every other game that has even a half baked comp mode laughs at trials and its "skilled" players lol

You’re the PvP version of the people who pick the Legendary campaign and then complain because it’s too hard. And I say that as pretty mid-tier player who’s only gone flawless 5 times. Stop asking for handouts. Weak as hell…

5 通の返信It is a skill issue, no offense. I’m a 1.27 and I went flawless 3 times this week. One of which was a solo ferocity card. I’m by no means some sweat lord, just average. Practice makes perfect, no one should expect to just go in and get a bunch of stuff for barely trying to get better.

2 通の返信You want more participation trophies for everyone? There's already enough in Trials as it is.

12 通の返信Agree it definitely needs to be easier for casuals, sbmm or outlier protection would help make it more accessible to the casuals
