3 通の返信Both Ikelos and Tarrabah are getting nerfed which is long overdue. However, that nerf has to include the Trials smg too. They are way too strong.

Carefull other commenters, alot of other people didnt do their research on how target lock affects the gun and think its just insta melts with insane damage. So you can ignore all the OP talk.

They realeased something that broken, I think they did cause an smg pvp nerf is coming. People went crazy, farmed hard for it, got to play with it for some time and then bam! they nerf it. Brilliant and devious.

10 通の返信How about we buff other weapons? Tired of the constant nerfing mindset. These smgs have always been good--one, people slept on because they couldn't be bothered with Gambit for the many, many seasons its been out (and now updated to be even better with Field Tested trait, and with rangefinder it has 16.5 zoom--more than Tarrabah!) and the other is craftable. The Title is great too, but the meta when it was first introduced had everyone else ignoring it and Guardian Games in general was a sh*tshow. Also, come on--loads of other broken builds or near broken weapons have been in the game for a while now and a brand new smg is what we have a problem with? Not sidearms that can achieve scarily fast ttks, more lethal with rangefinder, shotguns and fusions dominating the special slot, hand cannons still being a safe and solid choice with the ease of 3-taps and peak shooting (140s, 180s with damage perks, 120s with their range and forgiveness), hard laning with 2 burst pulses, etc? Some exotic weapons that are stoll extremely lethal made more lethal with the builds we can currently make? Trust me--yes, the new smg is very good for its archetype, but our constant mid-to-far range metas will eventually have most people go back to the usual. Smgs are in shotgun and sidearm territory and with 750s having generally low stability to combat flinch effectively, I don't think it'll be that much of an issue. I also think it's a shame that with almost all of our new endgame/ritual weapons for pvp, they always get nerfed into the ground. What's the incentive, if any left at this point, for playing comp or Trials if there's no weapons to show for it? If anything, matchmaking separating higher skilled players and everyone else, and proper lobby balancing, needs to be addressed. Not a whole gun archetype because I know damned well by this point that instead of minute tuning, or tuning the one gun, Bungie will make the entire archetype near useless to use.

3 通の返信They will get nerfed before the end of the season. Shotgun apes have now become smg apes and well co-ordinated teams just death Bally heir way to victory. The weapons are out of band and will be addressed.

2 通の返信They won't nerf them for a while. #1 the new trials smg just came out and it's a money maker for people to buy into the game. #2 they are easy to use for less skilled players. #3 titans have peacekeepers and they don't nerf titans that much because they are easy to use for less skilled players. #4 the dev team are less skilled players and use titans and smg's
