I told a random person in a raid I was invited to that clearing the cache helps with the invisible bug. He got all nasty with me saying that doesn't fix the problem it's Bungie they need to do it. I'm like yeah dude I know I said it helped. He kept going. I was like mute. Yeah Ill mute you. If your a jerk your getting muted. I don't do the online keyboard warrior crap. Community is full of people who act as if I took a pee in they're Cheerios for no reason. 😳

I mean aside from the “nastiness”, they aren’t wrong. It literally does nothing, nor does it help with the problem, a problem that actually began when they sunset half the game, and has gotten progressively worse as the seasons go on. This is just the absolute worst of it thus far. Last season alone, I would get this bug constantly in both PvP and tower. So it’s nothing new. It’s their end that’s causing the issue, and giving how long it’s been an issue, I doubt they know what’s causing it.

Agreed. Too bad there are so many that still spout off the “clear cashe” mythical fix, to understand it. Heck it still baffles me that people are acting like this is a new issue. Been going on since they sunset half the game. This has just been the worst it’s been, from what I’m hearing.

Likely the reason they got all uriney about it is because it doesn't work and many Bungle Fan Bois - "Mentors / Ninjas" were telling people to do this. It does not solve the problem and does nothing except waste our time. Each time you re-boot the game it's gone. However as soon as you play about 3 matches of game type that has the "Commendation Screen", you or your weapons go invisible. So I can run around on patrol for hours and it never happens, but as soon as you do strikes - crucible - gambit - nightfalls or the season pass activity, it's just a question of time before it happens in < 4 matches.

On Xbox, it's also pretty easy to do. Shut down the xbox, pull the plug, press the power button to drain any residual charge and then let it sit for say 30 seconds. Re-boot as normal. Bungle "Mentors" also suggested reinstalling the entire game - when the actual issue isn't us or our internet or our console, it's Bungle's incompetence.
