Same thing happened to our team. There is hope however. Like one of the comments here suggested, there were teams who wiped at the exact same time as my team, the wipe counter counts the exact same time, their team kills Nezarec, and they leave the darkness zone like everyone else, their time restarts, but they were revived. I’ve had a lot of naysayers comment on this, but don’t listen to them. I’m a day 1 Destiny 2 player and any time a situation has happened like this, when you wipe at the boss but kill him at the same time, what is intended to happen is your team spawns in and completes the encounter, receiving the final chest. PERIOD. What happened to the teams, including my own, who wiped and had to restart the encounter, was NOT intended. This was clearly a bug. My team, amongst others, received a bounty completion for completing the last encounter of any raid or dungeon. We got engrams like every other team did. Some teams got weapon pattern progress. I saw one team who got the ‘Synchronicity’ triumph complete which is the challenge for Nezarec, which requires your fireteam to complete the encounter, yet never got the triumph for the Day 1 emblem. The evidence is clear - this was an in game bug on destiny 2 day 1 for RON that did not keep consistent with each fireteam. BUNGIE, the right thing to do is reward us all with the Day 1 emblem, who had the glory stolen from us. Thank you. Ps. There are multiple instances of teams wiping on Nezarec twice. One team had the glitch happen on him 4 times, and then were unable to receive the Day 1 emblem. How is this right?! One person claimed to be the first team to kill Nezarec yet this glitch happened and they were robbed of worlds first. It is not fair to any of these teams. Do the right thing BUNGIE. Reward us with the emblem. Please and thanks.
