I’m a player who will play Destiny really hard for a season and a half and pretty much hardly touch Destiny the rest of the year. It’s how I recommend playing the game. Just for context. Lightfall is easily the most disastrous story telling I’ve encountered in perhaps any game, not just Destiny. It was ridiculous expectations from a gaming junkie. For almost nothing to be explained, including the Mcguffin, is just bizarre. I’ll say though, the “gameplay” of Destiny and the music still remain top notch. It’s just everything else that is really weighing this all down. Allegedly there’s one more expansion to the end of this saga, right? Well it’s gonna have to be huge just to explain the story to the players.
