Toxicity
This community just baffles me.
There is haters everywhere I look. I even LfGed for the gm as I’m farming for wendigo and this snob elitists kid says:
“I have specific places I want u to pop well, so don’t until I tell u” …. Ok first of all, I’ve done like 35 warden runs bro, I know exactly what I’m doing.
Then he says “ok so do you have any day 1 raid clears then pal?”
Like dude, what does that have to do with anything?
I know gamers who specifically don’t play destiny just because of elitist Aholes like that.
It’s sad man, I remember a time when people shared ideas and fun things happening in the game……

3 通の返信THAT exactly is the part of the community Bungie caters most of their new content to. The toxic elitist community portion is literally what Bungie wants to enjoy the game. Their recent announcements made that clear. Those kinds of people are the main reason i rarely engage with lfg raids and GM content. I already have to deal with toxic a-holes in real life constantly. Games are supposed to give us a save space from those kinds of humans. Destiny 2 endgame has exacty those "humans" everywhere, not a fun place to be.

That community is why Bungie is this way to be honest. As far as I know Bungie caters to them and not to casuals like me. Best to just deal with it or to just not do anything too endgame, since that’s what I do and the worst I’ve gotten was getting kicked for having no mic.

I mean, if the internet is on, toxicity exists. That being said, that sounds like just the worst run ever. People acting like that just aren't worth playing with. They obviously have no idea how to adapt.

2 通の返信There's always players who want to be the General. They don't want to discuss, they want to give orders. I've seen it in every MMO I've ever played. In WoW, it was usually Tanks pulling this crap while DPS and the Healer just shook their heads. Just ignore them or leave and try to find a better group. Believe me, they're out there. People like that are not worth playing with and just create a miserable and adversarial experience.

1 返信Team up with grownups. It’s not all amazing but definitely less of that nonsense. I had a GM run the other day with two dudes in like their 30s I’d assume. The run was scuffed af but we had an amazing time lol.

I don't care if you've done a say 1 raid cleat, what I do care about is having the ability to interact with people without being a massive -blam!-. Sadly since gaming became a thing, it attracted the wrong crowd.

This community is a total mixed bag like most things. One day you might have someone help you out of the blue and be very chill, then the next you might get some blams kick you right before rewards time. You just never know. Today I was farming bounties and two guys show up for a public event on Europa. They drive up and wait with me, and I shoot their vehicles so they won't get in the way. Well these guys get upset about it and re-spawn them and jump off while tea bagging me. No big deal though as most people like to goof off. The event happens and I shoot the bikes again because they get in the way. Well I guess these blueberries, both under level 10 decide to leave because I guess they think I was bullying them? Like I said, you never know what you're gonna get. lol
