"So we're making them harder."
Perfect logic. Players feel it's too much work for too little pay, so the perfect, optimal response is to just increase the amount of work needed for the same pay. This is brilliant.

I would really like to know what logic was used to disable power level in PVE content? The last thing I want to do is load up the vanguard playlist to face gambit level enemies . Guess I’ll be stuck using SMGs and sidearms again this year too.

13 通の返信
so the perfect, optimal response is to just increase the amount of work needed for the same pay. This is brilliant.
It actually is, because most of you will literally do it. Every time they make these poor decisions which are more than I could ever count. This forum floods with posts like this and has for years, but nothing changes, because most of you don't change. This business knows this so it makes it really easy for them to keep making these poor decisions. Why do you think the phrase "throw money at the screen" is thrown around as much as it has over the years? because that is what a lot of players actually do knowing it's wrong, yet they keep doing it "hoping things will improve". You just got to wait and see, right? The community's feedback is deliberately miss handled for this business's benefit, and if the recent actions aren't clear enough for a lot of you that is literally right in front of everyone's eyes, there is nothing anyone can say or do to help.

4 通の返信This is like complaining to your boss about the low pay, and then he's like - I hear you loud and clear and I agree! From tomorrow you'll work 6 hours longer for the same pay lmao

Being rewarded happens when you receive something for winning. Making things harder so that those who participate win more? Apparently those at Bungie don’t understand what being rewarded is. Bungie, why not make the chance of high end loot drops higher based on the number of completions instead of making it harder to beat. Example 1 1 time = x1 2 times = x2 3 times = x3 4 times = x4 5 times = x5 Example 2 1 time = 6% 3 times = 13% 5 times = 20% 7 times = 27%

2 通の返信I dont know where they are getting all this feed back about difficulty. Before the game was almost inaccessible to new lights. Then they toned that back, now they are putting their foot down on the gas again?

RockNotABoulderにより編集済み: 2/23/2023 8:29:17 PMSeems like they missed putting in a section of information pertaining updated rewards (this is from the latest TWAB). Which I'm inclined to believe as the original sentence didn't make any sense. Whether or not you want to spin your tin foil hat is up to you. Rewards are being improved across the board in terms of enhancement materials. They still need to make changes regarding farming exotics. But. The changes they listed are positive.

3 通の返信Playing devils advocate the word “rewarding” isn’t solely limited to the loot you get at the end of a activity. It can also refer to how satisfying a activity is to accomplish. For example something so mind numbingly simple to do isn’t rewarding because it takes so little effort to do. But a difficult activity that takes a lot of effort can feel rewarding once you’ve completed it. It’s like the difference between running strikes and completing a GM solo. I couldn’t care less about strikes and I’ve usually forgotten about them as soon as I’ve done them, if I’ve even done them. But I take pride in the fact I’ve completed a few GM’s solo and that pride in my accomplishment is the reward. Basically not all rewards are materialistic.

ADarkUrgeにより編集済み: 2/23/2023 5:03:23 PMIf bungie remove legend and make the lost sector guarantee an exotic I will happily play a harder version. if it's not guaranteed i'll just stick to farming GMs. Hell i'll even start combing the Xbox and Fireteam app for players that haven't done a GM and teach them how to efficiently clear Gms just to lower the player count for Lost sectors out of spite.

2 通の返信I know only one thing about destiny; I am way beyond tired of Bungie. I remember D1 nightfalls. They weren't fun. The difficulty is why so much cheese was introduced to destiny. They were so hard there was no way to legit do them. So yay! back to the cheese factory. Everyone using same cheesy tactics, same cheesy weapons... Good thing we'll have loadouts... 🧀 1 🧀 2 🧀 3...

1 返信I still haven't bought Shitefall. They want the game to die. I'm sad to say... Let it happen.
-
1 返信Ya that’s we want hard content to take new clan members thru for them to get frustrated and quit the game. I think bungie has really good strategy and money lost for Sony.

I think it's evident that Bungie wants playlist populations and gameplay/Eververse METRICS to reflect their "success" more than anything. I think they mostly ignore player feedback unless there's a game breaking glitch at large...that they caused. As long as we're engaging, I don't think they really care at all. They may even think we're ungrateful...The balls of that idea. Lol

1 返信Woah, hold up, they also told us that they’ll be investigating to see if the exotics aren’t dropping enough in lost sectors 😂

I have the solution. No one wants to hear it, but I have it. I haven't paid for an expansion since Beyond Light. I haven't paid for a season since Season of the Lost. Every time something drops I have my wallet ready, and every time they give me a reason to abstain. All you gotta do is do what I do and see how quickly Bungie turns it around. But this game is full of addicted FOMO warriors who would explode if couldn't say they preordered the new content. Bungie isn't willing to make the hard choices if you aren't.
