1. After years of mindless grinding for a god roll that never dropped we got crafting.
2. Now bungo wants us to stop crafting (kinda) because we grind less.
3. See the title.
I know that i'm not the only one that feels this way.

1 返信You are going to hate me, but I cannot stand crafting (atleast as it is at the moment). Drops a god roll but in the back of my mind I'm like, 'the crafted roll would be better'.. it makes getting that drop pointless. I'm only crafting stuff that I really want for now - however, if they mix up how crafting works (streamline) then I maybe up for it a little more.

2 通の返信What I love about this game is how useless my primary weapon is but my abilities are the second coming of Christ. So balanced.....

Ogma: Destroyer of Worldsにより編集済み: 2/24/2023 5:08:57 AMI will be playing less, that’s for sure. I played more BECAUSE of crafting. It feels good to see continual progress towards a desired roll. A lack of control to improve your odds with no foreseeable end to it doesn’t feel good. Getting what you want and then using it to help other people get what they want > helpless grind with zero ways to improve it and no foreseeable end. There is not “joy” in that. After over 300 dungeon encounters just to get my first ever desired dungeon weapon roll, I’m done with that kind of grind. There is nowhere in all of time and space where that is reasonable. Who actually likes being disappointed over 300 times?

2 通の返信Yeah I wont play for RNG loot anymore. This game is nearly a decade old, I no longer get the same excitement I used to feel back then. Crafting has made me love the game all over again so reducing it will mean ill be playing less.

2 通の返信You do you Dolly Boo. Personally, I just think they are trying to find the right balance between crafting and in-world rewards. Hey, but that’s just me.

8 通の返信It's kinda weird how people will play a looter shooter game, then go ahead and only use crafted weapons. That defeats the purpose of looter shooter, they never should have brought in crafting tbh

8 通の返信The Hermit IXにより編集済み: 2/22/2023 6:42:47 AMI love crafting and there will be plenty of new weapons to craft. I have so many I need to still craft from WQ so I’ll be busy. With that said if it’s a weapon I want I’ll chase random rolls too. I think they’re trying to find balance between chasing loot and chasing patterns.

10 通の返信If you don't want to grind for weapons then what's even the point of playing this looter shooter that revolves around grinding for loot that shoots?

More wasted playtime = better player numbers to show to their investors. Nothing more to it. They saw that people were done grinding "too quickly" and therefore dialed back on the literal only rewarding system they implemented in years. Crafting. They will probably let the entire system die until final shape cause of that scummy reasoning.
-
Good news is if you played this last year we have been able to craft some of the best weapons the game has ever seen. So yeah, no real reason to grind for new weapons that likely won't be much better. If you are a new player, and I doubt there are many new players coming, good luck.

They want us to get RNG drops, then jump through bs to allow activation of enhanced perks then we can grind those up as if they were Craftable but we wont be able to change perks! It is literally the WORST of all worlds.

The only thing that’s changing is that there will be noncrafted weapons that can get crafted weapon benefits.
-
Before they should make non craftable weapons worth the efforts and after "maybe" if you get the deepsight (if you didn't have already a good roll) to let you craft. After a year of crafted weapons, i can say that i prefer to grind deepsight that random roll.
-
Good that’s the idea. Have craftable options that aren’t the best weapons for people who don’t want to participate in the high emd, end game content. The current suit of weapons are already too powerful and can get you through that content if you wanted to do it anyway.
