Bungie, Thank You.
Thank you so much for giving us a breathtaking finale for the end of the season and what perfect timing to drop it on Valentine's Day.
The story over the past three years has never ceased to keep me awestruck and spellbound with its themes, writing, and voice acting. Today was one of the best cutscenes that the game has ever gotten and I can't wait for the ones we'll see in Lightfall. Hell, I even cried a little.
Happy Valentine's Day, Bungie. Your dedication to cinematic storytelling has never gone unnoticed.
Edit: Fine, call me a shill or whatever slime you wanna call me. I literally have nothing monetary to gain from this. It sucks that being positive one time equals, “wow I can’t believe he’s a fanboy” or “nice advertisement, undercover Bungie official”.
The tinfoil hatists out there really do cook up wild theories.

3 通の返信Big oof. Have you seen ANY cutscene from 2014-2018??? Apparently not. Cause this low quality "cutscene" was miles worse than what we got when Activision was still on board. Only REALLY good thing i can think of that the current team created was the deep stone lullaby. Everything else was mediocre and feels much worse quality wise than anything we got in D1 and D2 up until year 2.

But it's funny how post like this always pop up......RIGHT before it's time to sell a new season. 🙄 Not intentionally accusing you of anything, but ironically, they do. Coincidentally, maybe. These kinds of post feel like an advertisement.

3 通の返信Yes. Good to know the follow-up to us turning Nezarac into tea is the thing we've spent all Season rebuilding being destroyed and the Traveler thinking social distancing is still a thing.

5 通の返信Yes it was so amazing when the Warmind was unplugged making this entire season mean nothing! And the traveller moving a mile into space and doing nothing was a real nail-biter! And some more pyramid ships flew in, I can hardly contain my excitement! Has the bar really been set this low where people are getting excited over a holding pattern? Guess so.

3 通の返信I don’t mind positivity, but when I read posts like this it sounds like an advertisement. It sounds so fake and so cringey it makes my skin shake like it’s having a seizure or something. Hahahahahahaha!

The final mission was ok-ish. Part of Seraph Shield again, but it was relatively short and sweet. The final cutscene had better production quality than some of the past season endings. Ana’s performance capture and expression of anguish was well done. The story writing though was rubbish imo. Us fighting Eramis and her running away yet again is becoming a meme. And Bungie getting rid of Rasputin, cause he seems to be inconvenient for future story telling somehow, was very contrived and nonsensical in its execution, no pun intended.

1 返信I don't enjoy the ride to get there, didn't make sense why the boss health bar is made like that if only 1/3 of it is real, nor did I like playing the year 5 final mission capped at the dayone light level 3 seasons ago, felt like a slap in the face mocking a year's grind Definitely not on purpose but is what I feel
