That said, the rolls from the campaign are abysmal and I would recommend farming a legend lost sector.
No matter what the roll is, it will be WAY better.

Absolutely. Though since you will have already unlocked it, it won't be higher up in priority for the RNG, and it may take a little while to have one drop. Without getting it from Ikora first, it should be weighted a little more for it to drop before other already acquired head exotics.
