Intentional and passive nerfs!

They really need to separate both side of the game. It’s ridiculous. Do these types of nerfs in pvp only if it’s justified. It’s been like this the last several seasons of this year. Titans have been getting nerfs due to pvp related annoyances and PvE is also taking the hit. Titans have also received passive nerfs also. Example: The Loreley nerf of resto 2x down to 1x was justified. But then resto across the board got nerf affecting Loreley even more then just recently the Titans barricades got nerfed due to being a spam issue in pvp further passively nerfing Loreley even more. So in total Loreley since it’s release has intentionally and been passively nerf like 4x I’m pretty sure. Another Example: nerf across the board for class, discipline, strength. What our current max resilience T10 rally barricade regen is around 32sec now. When lightfall drops and the change of resilience comes it will passively nerf the barricade. Then the T10 rally barricade will be around 45sec. So that will be another nerf to titans barricades. These are times for when you are on void titan using the “Bastion Aspect”, but other subclass will still be affected the same way for the titans. This is also not including how time will change for all character classes across the board. The are going to revert the Hunter dodge nerf because if they don’t the the lightfall update will make it even long to get dodge back this would affect them even further. “Marksman’s Dodge” Past T10: around 14sec Current T10: around 17sec Lighfall: T10: around 18sec

  • I'm [i]guessing[/i] that the str/dis/etc nerfs were due to the subclasses getting their own equivalent to arc ionic traces. I have a Warlock build that's focused around Ionic Traces using the Delicate Tomb exotic. Traces everywhere... My God, built just right you get so many traces you have stupid rapid regen on abilities. It feels a bit like D1 where when you max dis/str you get your grenade and melee every 25 seconds. Now this is only a [i]guess[/i], but after reading the article where it seems like the trace equivalents will have plenty of sources it sounds like instead of directly buffing the stats themselves they're pushing for the player getting abilities back through aggressive play. I can dig that.

    • PvE needs nerfs too. I love build crafting but this is a shooting game. My build should compliment my play style and weapons, not completely take over all combat. Throwing a melee and a grenade and seeing a whole rooms of enemies explode and chain gets boring pretty quickly.
