Try again next season. That's what I had to do to get all of the armor pieces. All those Blowouts are your legendary shards.

I dont see the logic of making Iron banner a special limited time event, and then over fill it with everyday rewards. I realise thier trying to create a sustainable gameplay loop. But I rather they inflate the perk pool to increase the rng on my god roll, then get weapons I already earn through the weekly grind. The rewards dont even all have to be guns, they could get more creative and give iron banner lore pages which would be cost effective, or ornaments, iron banner exclusive emotes etc...

Crucible loot in general is underwhelming. Has been for a few years now, sad to say. Not surprising. With PvP being free to play, I don’t expect it to get any better.

These posts are almost comical though I agree that the drop rate on Blowout is overdone during iron banner specifically. That aside, it's time for those of you who don't know for a little PSA when it comes to getting that precious loot in the iron banner game mode. 1) Reputation packages are the best way to get engrams and iron banner gear. When Bungie did away with tokens, they also reduced drop rates of gear as rewards were meant to be earned through rank up packages. Bungies words not mine. Basically, just be happy with whatever rngeesus gives you, just to shard anyway. 2) Wear any iron banner gear, shader and emblem to max reputation gains. You can transmog iron banner gear and get rep gain multiplier. 3) Multiplier I believe is based on how many challenges you have completed for the week starting on reset. Each day the multiplier goes up and each day is a new challenge. Make sure you are running one of the two specified classes Bungie forces you to play. Kicker: You do not have to do the challenges daily. You could wait til Friday and do all the challenges on one character faster than playing daily and in less matches. (For those of you who do not like PvP, iron banner and want to get the title, emblem and shader you are welcome. 4 hours of iron banner on one character doing this method will give you all of this and more. But wait, there is more!!!) 4) Iron Banner Engrams: you could waste hundreds of mats and glimmer or slide on over to Rahool. I recommend Rahool. It's free to decrypt and once you have unlocked all of the things you can then waste mats focusing. Focusing just isn't worth it and too expensive anyway imho. You should be able to get all the armor easily and within 20 matches per character. 5)Other Characters: if you have the luxury of time to get these guys in, by all means. Repeat steps one through 4. SYNOPSIS: Chirp louder I guess or at least understand how to maximize and efficiently farm for the things you want. As an aside, I played far more iron banner than most and dismantled almost every armor drop piece I received. The best stat on any armor piece I got was a 67 base warlock helmet. Everything else dropped 65 or less. Same with weapons. Kept the god rolls. Zero focusing and got everything I wanted or needed God rolls weapons included. So, is it or was it worth it other than the shader and title? The iron banner weapons all have craftable counterparts from seasonal activities and are far superior.

Agreed. Took me a reset and a half to get the whole armor set on one character. Another way they inflate playtime numbers. Making us play an activity until we hate it isn’t a good mechanic.

Yeah this did feel lopsided. Definitely weighted Blowout too heavily in the loot pool

You’re not alone. I tapped out after getting the shader. Didn’t even bother completing Rank 16 for 2nd reset. Never had a chest piece drop.

Hey, so glad you love Iron Banner and played it for 68 matches! But be careful, if it starts to feel like too much we care about your mental health. Brungie maybe, but probably not.

Took me a little over 2 resets to get all the armor for all 3 characters lol

I get about 10-20 a day depending how long I play Comp. Really annoying getting all weapons I don’t ever use and zero weapons I want.

I think they made it only drop the newest ritual specific weapon each season. So Prolonged Engagement, Blowout, and the Albruna-D, for Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit, respectively. Don't know why though.

Yeah it sort of reminded me of that season where we got a buttton of grenade launchers in EVERYTHING. I just shardded everything to recoup my shards.

And I thought my getting only a single class item per reset (of 2 resets, meaning 2 class items total) was bad luck.
