All it does is promote an anti team rhetoric in an otherwise team based game.
Instead of "Kill this amount of X with Y" what we SHOULD be going for is "[b][i]As a fireteam[/i][/b], kill this amount of X with Y"
Also, simplify them a tad. I stead of having us focus on specific weapons, just have be "As a fireteam, kill this amount of X with Primary/Special/Power weapons"

This will occur as long as there are bounties, catalysts, quests, triumphs, challenges and seals that set objectives that are contrary to activity objectives. Going into Gambit and getting 25 invader kills prompts a player to invade as often as they can to finish it and move to the next step.

This isn't just a problem with bounties but with catalysts and crafting progress. My change would be from kills to damage. That way you can't have others farm for you but you can still progress even if they're snagging all the final blows. On top of that you'd gain faster progress for Crits as they do more damage. Just makes perfect sense to me.

22 通の返信Especially the seasonal challenges for stunning champions. Why on earth is it 50 stuns and not fireteam based? We've done it several times by just finding a beefy Unstoppable and just taking turns stunning it over and over. Really takes us out of whatever activity we're doing.

2 通の返信Sigh. Run the solo scripts, change your console dates, run legend NFs. No denying challenges are counter intuitive for the most part, but bounties can be done solo and in ways that don't require sharing at all. To emphasize the 50 champ stun challenge; you don't even need a fire team, go to a legend lost sector, stun the same champ 50 times in a row. Challenge done, profit.

Rare: XP and Glimmer Common: XP, Glimmer and Materials Legendary: XP, Glimmer, Materials and Gear Adept: XP, Glimmer, Materials, Gear w/ Extra Perks, Chance at Adept Mod or Specific Playlist Weapon. Exotic: Same as Adept with an exotic drop or red border that can be craft-able. Do not tie them to content but completion of enemy defeats and weapon slot usage ie Primary, Centurion, Champion, Power Weapon or Hive Guardian. The higher the difficulty, the more you progress. Remove the expiration timer as well so players can farm.

Pretty sure some do. I know I have some pop up sometimes about getting x kills in x way and I didn’t do that (or contributed very few to the objective. Bounties for the most part are ok. Honestly wish there were some mid tier bounties that had more specific objectives but gave more specific loot incentive.

at this very moment bounties and seasonal challenges are annoying the sht outta me for this very reason. damn near everywhere i've gone there's three or more players competing for each kill. it wouldnt take two minutes to get x number of precision kills or y number of melee kills if your own squad wasnt in there making the sht take forever. if weapon leveling, seasonal challenges, and bounties are gonna continue in this fashion, maybe add more enemies....a lot more, like two or three times as many. or (here's an idea), make it possible to load in solo.

Not exactly a bounty, but I feel very stupid when I have to race my teammates to get to the invasion portal first so I can gild Dredgen. It takes me out of the game completely and it's the exact opposite of teamwork.

7 通の返信The number 1 thing bounties need is to be completed as a FIRETEAM. It shouldnt even matter what bounties each player has, so long as your on the same fireteam, everything we do should contribute to both our own bounties and our teammates. This would completely eliminate the bs of having to fight each other for kills to complete objectives, and no long would we have to miss out on progress due to speed runners, and those who like to kill every ad the moment they spawn. This would also mean players would have an easier time ranking up their seasonal lv, and thus allowing more players access to higher lv content. Which equates to more players in the dungeon and raid pool....Possibly even bringing the raid experience back to how it used to be in D1. Loads of friendly players willing to help teach and run raids with each other, not just the extremely dedicated (good but tend to be impatient) or gross elitists literally no one likes (they dont even like each other).

This quality of life change would be F***ing amazing. I've wanted this since d1. I have bounties and objectives that make core playlists a chore to compete for. If I want to be a little efficient in anyway. I have to screw over my gambit team by forcing a bad loadout, and never banking just so I can kill more stuff. Basically never help in a strike. Reload until there is a lost sector on the strike and head over there. Crucible is just follow someone and KS for bounties. Literally every example is cringe. But the activities haven't changed and don't want to be in them any longer than needed. This is slightly changing for crucible with sbmm making my matches slightly better.

1 返信I agree. PVE play should promote team-play, not put people in competition for kills. Most people seem to leave team events to avoid seeing the score so I think this kinda sums it up nicely. People don't even want to be competitive yet the game forces them to be.

1 返信Wouldn’t work since organized teams could complete 3x more bounties than when solo. Optional matchmaking for everything solves it all. Scaredy cats, I’m not asking for LFGs to be withdrawn from the game, only to give players the OPTION to go solo for every activity/destination.

3 通の返信Or, just get rid of the artificially inflated BS content called bounties. Wake up, it’s a cheap way to keep you playing the same trash over and over. Bounties are pointless and worthless.. Bungie is lazy, here are some more useless bounties tied to every aspect of the game that do nothing but artificially inflate game play.
