Not everything's about you. If they increase drop rates, it's good for everyone. Get off your stupid high horse and look beyond yourself for 0.2 seconds.

4 通の返信Can you atleast elaborate what you are referring to? That's such a specific complaint with zero context. Obviously noone not living in their moms basement and dropped out of school would argue against higher drop rates? So whats your point?

2 通の返信Drop rates for what? Red borders? If people haven't figured it out yet, it seems like Bungie is on a trend of making seasonal grinds easier at the end, so after last season, I didn't do any grinding this season. Now my season just got easier. Win/win I say.

2 通の返信It's not that I ts good for everyone. Most are just pissed off that they dumped the time to have it later feel wasted.

2 通の返信xbroggiexにより編集済み: 1/28/2023 4:17:45 AMThe changes to red border drops or title requirements are good since they cut down on the grind but the bitterness is that the players that do these objectives are questioning why the red border drops or triumph objectives weren't like that to begin with. The anger really if any should be directed at Bungie as they are intentionally doing this now to inflate playtime. While it is a "good" change its Bungie using the mentality of creating a problem to sell you the solution later which will just inherently breed toxicity. Like Ruffian spawn changes and the triumph requirements or red borders dropping more often and more for patterns you have not unlocked yet, to now allowing you to purchase a red border each day before Lightfall(Why not just unlock the patterns for all those that own the respective seasons?). I think its a problem Bungie honestly needs to address but they won't, so each season you will see something that is mildly annoying to achieve or obtain be it red borders or a triumph or cosmetic and just near the end of the season Bungie will make it easier to entice players that weren't as interested in investing the time before. It's smart but its really scummy.

2 通の返信Setting expectations at the beginning of a season/expansion and then months later "folding" and practically giving stuff away isnt cool. It's fine if they wanna reduce a grind or whatever but dont make people think one thing and then just change it to "just kidding, you didn't really even need to play, we will just hand out the rewards later". That's BS. Spin that any way you want it and it's still BS.

The Hermit IXにより編集済み: 1/28/2023 2:07:53 PMThe drops are RNG based and as we all know, RNG can be brutal to some. So allowing 1 per day per vendor helps negate this. Can a person who barely played everything get all weapon patterns? No the math isn’t there seeing you need 5 deep sights to unlock 1 pattern. It also combats “FOMO” (I’ll never understand this) so players can get a few things because they didn’t play and it’s at the cost of their own materials. I have no issue with it and I’ve put the grind in on all weapons to unlock the patterns. Let the kids have a few things.

Been playing for a few years now and stuff is always like this before a expansion comes out, -Arrivals had all raids on repeat lootable -Lost had dungeons on repeat lootability if i recall, and vog was lootable on repeat as well. -Seraph, pattern holds. Just dont bother grinding out raids for stuff till the season before a expansion because bungie will make everything easy to obtain at that time. If you want to beforehand sure thats fine. But after three years we should have learned the pattern no?

3 通の返信Exactly. Some of these "I grinded X and now you are giving it to others" are just twerps that never take responsibility for thier own choices or actions.

1 返信Abby_NormaIにより編集済み: 1/27/2023 8:38:57 PMBut people like to hold up their rare precious and let everyone else stare at it while all that staring warms their hearts up. I think solo flawless emblems, first day raid emblems, stuff like that are your shiny shits to show off. Actual gear shouldn't take people literal days to grind for, not in this super flat PvP neutered environment where we're talking small incremental improvements over something like getting an OG Gally.

1 返信Totally agree. I cannot believe there is backlash on this. I got the smg in the second week. I farmed a bit, I spent a loads of materials and I don’t care now people will get it 6 weeks later. And people say PvE players aren’t as toxic…

1 返信Are you serious or is this an attempted trolling?? Of course it's all about me. Who else would it be about?

66 通の返信GIVE EM HELLBOYにより編集済み: 1/27/2023 5:09:46 PMThis community, especially members like Saltagroper, really love negative changes. But then they detest changes that benefit everyone. I have no idea why people want Destiny to remain a hamster wheel slogfest. Maybe it hurts their egos when things are made more player friendly? "Hey! Look at me! I wasted 1000 hours of my life getting this gun!"
