Some of the numbers you get when you put everything together is flat out disgusting and way too expensive, for old gear.

3 通の返信Can someone remind me whether or not my crucible engrams that are currently in shaxx’s pockets carry over to the next season? I have almost 100 and I just have no use for them since the current gear is trash. I was hoping to be able to use them if they carry over to next season

1 返信I see it as an 'FU' from Bungo. No doubt, they wold have loved to charge £$E for this, but couldn't. So they made it time consuming and obnoxious. Actually, the above applies to a lot of the game I'm sure hahaha. Budget underwhelming nasty greedy insidious entity.

10 通の返信i agree, if we look at trials, its 35 trials engrams just to get a complete armour set(which is years old btw) and that is too on one character, so just imagine the grind if you want the armour set on multiple characters also, 35 trials engrams is 2 trials resets

The cost of it is so outrageously obscene I see no reason to even interact with the new system. Reminds me of crafting when it first launched. No real reason to have it any more expensive than regular focusing other than to push their fomo BS

1 返信Their business model since beyond light is to make things come out so moronic they can spend the next year working on a fix as new content

2 通の返信I mean I feel like they should at least do 3-4 not 7. I also feel like they did it like this so they can make ppl feel regret about not getting it and also they wanna make the "veterans" happy that they aren't giving the armor away for free basically.
-
4 通の返信I mean do you really want or actually need the old gear? No right? So what's their to complain about?
-
Well, what do you expect by Bungie. Every single change or implementation SHOULD look awesome on paper and benefit the players. Yet Bungie turns everything into an insane time sink. They just seem to feel the need to devalue their players time with every single implementation just for the sake of high player numbers to show to their investors.

3 通の返信I mean… I’m don’t really have a reason to try legacy focusing. I got god rolls adept nightfall weapons long ago, for each weapon. And I refuse to participate in trials at all, so I’m NEVER going to focus trials engrams. I don’t have to do any legacy focusing with this in mind.

1 返信trials is destiny hell. 7 Trials Engrams for cosmetic only armor we dismantle, not even focusing for stats. R.I.P my 3 pieces of trials armor i never got

Oh yeah that's egregious as hell unless they're changing it up to drop more engrams, more often, but since its Bungie I expect the complete disrespect of player time investment and the inevitable, all too common realization later when they say "We're sorry. We realize this was too much and we are lowering the requirements." Yeah we don't have to pursue it, this is completely optional, but it doesn't mean it should be ridiculous for those that do choose to pursue it. I won't be pursuing these things personally, but I feel that pain😂. I just hope there's something they haven't mentioned that will make it alot better than it sounds currently.

6 通の返信We'll get 40+ new guns in the next expansion anyway. Guns which you probably won't use. Some you might like.

Here’s my suggestion. If they want to bring back old gear we paid for in the first place, they should make the focusing costs cheaper. Now, I’m not saying this out of spite, but in all fairness, we did pay for content like this in the past when we had access to those items, and now they’re bringing it back at such an expensive cost. I just hope that they change this before or after Lightfall comes out.

5 通の返信Wait for the summer. They will lower it. The grind is always way too painful upfront. Casually interact with it and complain on Reddit and it will get lowered like usual. Bungie just like to try and satisfy the no lifers at the beginning.

7 通の返信What are you spending that much glimmer on that you can't spare 20k and 50 shards..? They removed destination materials and made glimmer gain infinitely better. Legendary shards are easy to get too if you just play the game and dismantle weapons/gear you don't want/see yourself using. If you mean the engrams part, then these aren't going to be engrams like Umbrals and Prime that sit in our inventory. They're vendor specific, which means they sit IN the vendor themselves. Like right now I have five umbrals, but I also have ten legendary engrams at Zvala because I haven't visited him in a little while since last week we had double vanguard drops.

You that guy on reddit who has a full breakdown on this issue? He went all out. Props to you guys who noticed. Bungie always try to see how much they can get away with and try to push boundaries. Wish they’d stop and try to anticipate the inevitable backlash.
