I dont want to play against pc players AT ALL.
The only way I’d be ok with it would be in a near impossible world of gaming (ALL methods of cheating banned with ZERO workarounds and mm based on fps/input).

Not as is... with technical parity. You see there is this myth that MnK by itself offers unbelievable advantages... it really doesn't, especially when you balance with aim assist systems like D2 does. The truth is it's not just the input... it's everything else a PC can do for the player. The most rudimentary example would be turning 180, that's a movement shortcut... that bobbing up and down w perfectly methodical timing that's a macro. For platforms to be truly under one umbrella there needs to be parity. Think about when you're matched w a PC player in PvE... what are the pain points? They're faster, no matter what you do you can't keep up. This and many other factors/issues would be solved if there were locked framerates and technical parity. The bottle is uncorked, there is no going back... you're already playing with PC players. This topic is about improving that experience.

DHawk12により編集済み: 1/21/2023 12:31:43 AMI don’t mind playing with pc players in pve, just not pvp. I don’t care how you slice it, I do not want to face pc players in pvp. Period. I completely avoid games that include pc within crossplay, I would have immediately canceled BL and deleted D2 if pc was included within pvp crossplay even if bungie did everything you are talking about.

it seems youtube taught you a new word, as you've used "parity" so many times. reality is it's impossible. no consoles keep up with pc and among pc differences in hardware even form gulfs there as well. unless everyone is using the exact same everything, nothing will be equal.

jhermannITJにより編集済み: 1/20/2023 3:34:45 PMThey never used the word "parity"... I'm using the word, because that's the correct word... geez. That's another thing people will do to try to diminish others without having anything to offer themselves of merit or relevant to the subject matter. "Big words... fancy words, oh my gosh". That doesn't impugn anything I've said, it just exposes you and makes you look foolish. It's not impossible, you have no clue what you're talking about or haven't demonstrated said knowledge. So to reiterate, "Parity" is being used because it's the right word. It's not some fancy word... a demonstration of arrogance or ignorance as you imply. It's not some copy-pasta regurgitation I saw on Redditt or YouTube... it's what needs to happen and what will happen. Accept it not, makes no difference to me... but it's happening. What's happening? "PARITY" 😋lol

boy you sound as foolish as it gets. it is indeed impossible, many different hardwares won't give the same performance. hence your need to use parity repetitiously as if it's a magic fix. never said it was a fancy word, it's a pipe dream. no. it's not happening either, you can accept it or not.

It's done all the time, I would explain it to you... but you won't hear it so I recommend looking it up. You just cap spec at the maximum performance thresholds that would include all platforms within those margins. So in this case, PS5... XBOX Series X, in fact it was done recently for this game... that's why series X is limited to 60fps in PvE... it can do more, but the PS5 couldn't... not at 4k. So Bungie decided to maintain technical parity between consoles. So you do the same thing but you include PC. I guess I did end up explaining it, lol. So yeah, hardly impossible. And it happens all the time.

In the combination of all platforms, no it will never happen. Yet you live in fantasy land where every pc has the same specs, every peripheral is equal, and everything is on a balanced playing field and playing together. Very unrealistic and not well thought out.
