Iron Banner Rank Rep Gains Are Awful
+88 on a 5x streak with 4.40x modifier is absolutely pathetic rank gain. PvP is all ready horrible and this just makes it take unnecessarily longer.

1 返信I was excited to get on and play eruption. Surprise it's three turrets and bonus flag? Could of atleast drop 1 overload,1 barrier,1 unstoppable defending the points lol.

ForeverLaxxにより編集済み: 1/4/2023 9:40:16 PMLike most things that Bungie implements with ways to "reduce" grind through multipliers, the base value is set extremely low to offset it. What this means, effectively, is that you can only expect reasonable grinding value when the event is almost over instead of having reasonable grind throughout the duration. In short, Bungie punishes you for playing early and encourages you to do two or three "marathon" sessions at the end to get everything done (which, not-so-coincidentally, reduces your total drops through match completion). You see this in just about everything: Season Pass Catalyst "bonus," Triumph completion "bonus" for Dungeon/Raid exotics, IB Rep system, the Playlist Streak bonus, etc. Bungie doesn't respect player time.

I feel bad for newer players in Iron Banner that don't have any armor to have as ornaments or emblem to equip to actually get the higher rep bonus. And the fact the emblem requires a full reset and then some...it's pretty insulting to New Lights.

3 通の返信Calling it now. Bungie will once again say that the rep multiplier isn't working as intended and will be fixed by next Iron Banner. You know, the line they've used every Season since they had the brilliant idea to handle Iron Banner rep this way.

2 通の返信"all ready" You're wrong, I can see you can't even type properly anymore, that's because you trying to rebel against bungie. This Iron banner is one of the best matches in destiny 2 because I get to obtain the drippiest sets.

I'm doing Iron Banner this time to see what all the complaining is about. A lot of complaints seem to be justified. I noticed how long it was taking as well. I've been running all 3 characters too. Disclaimer, not a pvp-er

Get the pinnacle drop and move on. The XP multiplayer is increasing each day for IB. Bungie RNG has always been a joke. But you can purchase missing items if only to complete your collection. IB can be reset if you have patience and time to play the last few days. Personally I am grinding to close out the Mida catalyst. Nothing like large teams and no reliance on KD to incentivize.

5 通の返信It's just like everything made in this game noways. Literally made to waste as much of our time as possible. We ask for them to remove the annoying IB bounties. They remove them and add the armor to rng drops in exchange which can literally make it so you grind for 15 hours without getting the armor drop you want now. (Yes that's me) Same with dungeon exotic drop rate increases with the seal triumphs. We asked for that but before they made that change, they reduced drop rates from 1 % to 0,0000000000000000000000001 % to make up for the better chances with the triumphs. This company is trash.
