Before I start; I'm not much of a PvP player - not a good one, but still enjoy going in and giving it a go; especially in Trials.
However; one of the biggest issues currently in Trials are people refusing to finish their cards because they want to keep crushing people of lower levels and not face people of the same skill level. It kills the fun and changes Trials from a Fun Challenge into just a boring slaughter feast.
In both Freelance and Regular Trials; it has become a nightmare getting ANYWHERE when going against teams of people who keep resetting their cards just to stay out of the Flawless Pool (This is evident when viewing their stats and they are on a 20+ victory streak, yet their card will only have one or two wins on it) - (The image provided on this post via the URL is an example of what I mean by this).
Please change the resetting from being whenever you want to making it so resets can only be applied if you either Flaw the card or are granted Mercy (Passage of Mercy), this way it at least opens up more opportunity to make progress and not keep getting slammed by people who should be in the Flawless Pool. All I care about is making it to the Lighthouse and that's it.
EDIT: URL decided to die and now isn't working - updated to a second URL and it's now working again.

6 通の返信There are some really sad people in this pvp community! I see the same people play continuously 24/7 . Control is now the sweat pvp clans and players . I actually spoke to a guy who gets 40 - 50 kills per game ….just plays to get high kill streaks and he’s addicted . Just all kinds of wrongs ….the worse is getting emotionally involved .

I don’t agree with it, they reset card, farm lower skilled players tell there friends how good they are at trials and there seasonal K/D 🏆 I wouldn’t mind if they made it so you can’t reset your card until you lose a match. The way it should be no?
-
This is a mild example of what I’ve seen lol most losers I see have 3 or 4.0 kds and are just farming the less skilled in non flaw pool. It’s not the answer. More people and a higher percentage went flawless when the flawless pool is taken out completely

6 通の返信I'll agree to this. Last time I played trials, my 1st game was against 3 sweats, 1 of which had 169 flawless tickets and another with 42,000 ToO kills. They trashed me. Players that good should stay in Flawless Pool when they've got there. Better still, be KDA matched so they're not coming up against easy oppos all the time to farm stats. I wasn't even trying to go flawless, just rank up and get some gear, but Trials is more fun when u know u have a chance.

Card resetting is really boring to be honest with you. There’s no tension or drama, you don’t bother checking trials report for the opponents KD. It’s just shooting fish in a barrel mostly, and especially if you are resetting at game 1 rather than at flawless game. Plus in the solo Q you’re just listening to music or half watching Netflix while u play. It’s a pretty sad way to play the game and I feel sorry for those that do so every week. For example there is a certain player name after Mario’s nemesis who played over 200 games this week and the guy reset at game 1 just to farm KD.

And what’s stopping people from just throwing the 7th game ? Even if they’re carrying someone the carrier(s) leave the carried at game 7 lose on purpose then rejoin the person being carried and win his 7th their 1st
-
Even worse what your saying is when ur supposed team start shooting at u because u didn’t get a kill & they both got a kill b4 they died Sod’s law u run into the player whom is better than you could ever wish to be
-
Maybe you should only get one card. If it were a real tourney (toO) that's the way it would work, right? Once reset, you are out of the tournament. Bungie makes all their own problems, and then refuses to clean them up without ever learning a thing!

2 通の返信DHawk12により編集済み: 1/2/2023 9:58:46 PMThe flawless pool is the problem. If the trials map is fun and I already have the god roll adept then I like to stay in the non-flawless pool so I can play on sunday as well. The flawless pool is just too sweaty and laggy to have fun and FUN is the only point of trials if the god/near god roll adept is already obtained.

It’s amazing to me that you lost 36 matches this weekend and chose the one that you found someone resetting their card to blame it on. What about the other 35 matches? Smh y’all will really use any excuse you can to not realize the only constant in your random matches is you. If bungie removes resetting it will just be some other excuse for why you can’t go flawless and deserve it. You should temper your expectations flawless isn’t for everyone, the loot isn’t even noticeably better you get a tiny stat bump and an adept mod.
-
Players want good players to remain in the flawless pool don’t understand that even in the flawless pool, the skill gap is much wider than in the regular pool and the best way to see that is by going flawless on a freelance week and playing in the flawless pool it’s like night and day in there. If you’re under a 1.0 don’t expect to go flawless. The lesser your skill level the more better players you will face. If you’re a .4 in trials that means like 90% of the players you’ll face will be god teir to you. Get better with practice first.

1 返信Bungie created 6 win resetting to allow for easier Carries. Most people I know that reset is to allow them to do more trials Carrie’s. Bungie a fault not the players. Also as pvp endgame not everyone will get adept loot live with it.

You guys are missing the point. Resetters are just going to lose their first match and then play on a flawed card for the rest of the week and stay in the non-flawless pool, Bungie just need to remove flawless pool completely, because it doesn't help anyone at this point

I would rather that I just got everything for free so that I don’t have to play at all. I finally got the touch of malice and didn’t have to play anymore but then they come out with a new season and I got to grind red borders again…. At least they put a pick me up in the water bottle sometimes.
