So I’m trying to pick up sniping again and it’s been horrible, I’ve got high resil unflinching mods and no distractions still getting flinched like crazy through it. I’m just asking for any tips from people who are comfortable sniping in pvp. I try not to peak lanes too much because someone will already start shooting in the direction I’m at.

1 返信I'm at the Stage where i pull out the sniper and get a kill in the Dome or not. i started back in halo 3 and I SUCKED so with destiny 1 just used a sniper day AND Night, got in tune with it. picked it back up in d1 did it quite the same, i had no mods or anything, this was back before flinch. Take of your mods, get good like that in six v six, When you're good like that put on the mods and make you're self 100 res, it's just hard Practice

There aren't really any tips for combating flinch, there's not much you can do. Try not to get shot first so won't get flinched and find another lane if you do. Aim headshot height even before zooming in. Strafe snipe for fine movements when you have time, sometimes you need to be quick and just go for a flick shot but I find strafing is the easiest way to aim.

Trial and error. Been sniping for 5+ years. Couple tips - don't stay in 1 spot too long. Because you won't be useful to your team and at one point they try to group rush you - Pick your battles. You decide where the fight takes place and how, take different angles - Be calm, always be calm. A rushing mind breaks concentration for a sniper - this isn't cod, don't be on the frontlines where shotguns are. Especially since the recent flinch changes. Weapons you need to watch out for Especially (scouts and pulse rifles) this isn't sweats. So anything goes - know the map, map knowledge helps you where to go in case you need to escape or relocate - pick one type of sniper and it becomes your baby. Once it's your baby. Use it well. But know the downsides of each archetype - If you want 1 on 1 lessons. Dm me, I will provide it for free, I don't mind giving people refreshers or teach them. - lastly, don't give a damn about winning or stats, you only learn from loss and what not to do and what you did right. Take these lessons with you.

6 通の返信BraddyBoにより編集済み: 12/24/2022 10:22:52 PMPick 1 sniper or zoom value and stick with it (+/- 5 zoom). NEVER swap to a different weapon because of the map, you need to learn how to snipe at any and all ranges. You should also pair the sniper with a close/medium range weapon so you aren’t useless at close range. I use 35/40 zoom, crafted fathers sins and beloved. My primary is usually boudica/lonesome, sometimes ace/hawkmoon. Tlw is also a good option but I’m not very good with it. I always run 100 res (strictly for ttk reasons) with 1 unflinching mod, no distractions is a waste. Flinch has always been crazy and no amount of building into it will make it so you can efficiently land crits through flinch, you just need to shoot first.

3 通の返信Snapshot is kinda redundant to have unless you're seasoned enough to know what you're doing. So look for opening shot and no distractions as go to's for now. More range means more zoom. And every sniper has its place in different maps. High impacts are good for maps like eternity. Rapid fires are good for maps like javalin-4 Make sure to play test in private matches to determine dmg fall off and bullet magnetism fade I can play a few private rounds with u for some other fun tips Just hit me up

3 通の返信Snipers have been the punching bag for flinching and have been toned down a lot. But as long you keep practicing and know your lanes. Also, work on your flicks to the head to gain the headshot. Just keep practicing and you'll become better over time

Opening shot. Also body shotting with high impact snipers is super useful to get them 1-shot or finish them if they're hurt at all. Don't forget higher zoom equals more aim assist so if you have a good roll on an Occluded Finality that might be worth a try.
