Someone please explain to me how this mission is even good, it BARELY gets a 5/10.
Only thing going for it was the jumping encounter, as always the Skybox team did amazing.
I’m seeing all these people praise it, and it makes me wonder if people even played Zero Hour or Whisper of The Worm missions.
Unpopular opinion but Exotic Missions are at its peak when it’s timed, forces people to get better at it, and it creates this sense of commitment to it.
The new Exotic Mission has a wonderful theme, but it isn’t anything special in my opinion. Maybe I just don’t like scanning and doing all this stuff, but it was very repetitive. I’m not saying it’s the worse, but compare it to other Exotic Missions.

I still don’t get why the Whisper mission is given so much praise. It’s literally just: Kill taken -> Parcour section -> more parcour -> kill more taken -> fight three bosses -> Mission End (and this was back when they throttled the hell out of ammo. Making those bosses super annoying to fight) It looked kinda cool I guess, but it’s not as cool as going through the D1 tower in Zero Hour. Or the space station in this new mission. But that’s purely subjective.

But from the other perspective: Time is probably never coming back for base versions of these missions and for good reason. A good amount of players want to play things at their own pace and take in the scenery. They wanna...you know...Enjoy the game?

It was great to me taking my time exploring and finding secrets then strapping a EagerEdge to my back racing to the next encounter I wouldn't mind if it had a timer so if you beat it under a certain time limit you get more rewards other then that nope especially for a quest that's going to get vaulted next season or after and dumped in the kiosk
