Last 2 Seasons have shown me: Lightfall will be exactly the same
The cycle continues. I hope for better...it gets worse...repeat.
This game has become disgraceful. At this point nothing can convince me otherwise.
Destiny 2 exists only as a meager means of revenue so Bungie don't have to file bankruptcy, and can continue to appease their government overlords. It does not exist to give people an amazing experience, or provide quality gaming.
Yes, Im aware they addressed the situation, 'we know you're bored as -blam!- of our game but it will take us years to change anything.' Lightfall will be [b][i][u]exactly[/u][/i][/b] the same as the last 2 years of boring seasons. It will be no different. I'm not buying it, and that saddens me. I used to LOVE this game.
This latest dungeon is proof that things aren't going to get better. Graphical issues abound, and the copy/paste is out of control.
No one is playing it, either. I dont think Bungie want to invest enough into D2 at this point to make it something great. They are content with placing it on auto pilot and peddling their Eververse wares.
Disgraceful.

yup, so I also stopped playing the game. Did pay for season 19, but the game is fainfully boring. It is nothing but repetition after repetition, for loot that you will not even use in next seasons. A game for braindead people with no life. I am done! Adios Bungo, shove that game in a dark place where the sun ain't shining.

I cancelled my Lightfall pre-order after Plunder and I will probably walk away from the game for a good while when this season is done. I'll finish it since I've already paid for it but I am not giving Bungie another cent until they prove that they can release content that respects my time and is not chock full of bugs. I do not have high hopes.

You can’t judge a expansion/DLC on seasonal content. Seasonal content is just a little something that is drip fed to us to tide us over till the next expansion. Personally I’ve never really liked them and just found they’re more of a hassle than they are worth. But that’s mostly because of the power grind and all I want to do is Trials. If you want to judge like for like then you have to back to the last few expansions/DLC’s. Which Queen was one of the best I think so if it lives up to that then it’s going to be good. Beyond Light was a 💩 without the smile.

It's so easy to see through, it's just an appetizer for the upcoming DLC. I'm not buying into it. I love Destiny (2) but I can't stand anymore what all comes with it... I'm not taking that bone!

1 返信Well Lightfall is a DLC, so it will be quite a bit different than the last two seasons. The season that accompanies Lightfall however will be more of the same that we've seen from the past few seasons. Pretty sure they said that we would start seeing changes to the season after Lightfall and it's season. Lightfall will probably carry whatever season launches with it and those three months will probably be fine. It's the three following seasons that worry me.

Game is so predictable. The same hollow and defective game since Activision left. It’s so defective it broke their own forums for 5 days after launch of a new season. LMAO!!! Laughable! Creativity is so low it’s being utilized to create milking schemes. Bwahahahahahaha!!! That ain’t good gaming. That’s good milking. LMAO!!! When they said it ain’t gonna be like Forsaken, I knew then the game will be in trouble. A couple years later and it’s the same hollow and defective milking cow game. Laughable! LMAO!!!

3 通の返信I cancelled my pre-order of Lightfall and with the money refunded bought Diablo 4 ultimate edition. When I did that I realized how expensive is each new expangion of D2. And all I've got from each new season is more disappointment and frustration.

8 通の返信Yep. This game is a waste. The same rinse and repeat horde mode activities with recycled, reskined, reused, repurposed, reissued, re-sold back to you trash. Nothing but useless; ghosts, sparrows, shaders, projections, emotes, ships, finishers and emblems. Game play is artificially inflated with rinse and repeats activities involving seals, triumphs, artifacts and bounties… and the cherry on top, here is a power increase with time gated story telling involving more of the same.

4 通の返信And Bungie gloats about how these are "the best Seasons ever" and Destiny's future being bright. No. The best Seasons were the ones we got with Forsaken. And yes, even Joker's Wild was better than what we're currently getting. And if the devs keep tampering their ability to come up with fun and unique content, then Destiny is going to have a bleak future.

It's true. We know that's the plan with what was put out by the D2 manager. They're not focused on crushing it with a stellar release. Plan is to just make sure there is a stream of stuff to put out, even if it's half baked so they can keep the train rolling. They know it's sub-par. But people keep buying and playing hoping it will finally get to its potential. It won't.
