Come on Bungie where has your creativeness gone. You used to be so good at releasing creative unique content.
These days its all the same all repetitive grinding to get content we already had but was taken away.
This repeating the same content over and over for the same better roles is truely getting old and drip fed story. There has got to be a better way.
This is not ragging on Bungie, simply expressing disappointed in the form of constructive feedback.

2 通の返信Based on recent words from Joe Blackburn, seasonal work runs 6/7/8ish months ahead of when the season drops ("Season 21 is at the halfway mark of development"). When you were all busy pre-ordering Bungo's latest cashgrab a year ago, last season and this season were barely twinkles in Bungo's eyes. So...a dev, that has become synonymous with laziness and greed, minimum effort / maximum pricing, reskins, dresses, dress sim, lies (renewed PvP focus anyone!?!) etc, has your money before they are even working on what some of your money has been spent on... Well, I think a lot of us predicted how that was going to go, and funnily enough those predictions are just how last season and this one (so far) have gone.

1 返信Avid_Coffee_Drinkerにより編集済み: 12/9/2022 1:03:29 AMAgreed. It’s hard to play this season without feeling like I’ve been ripped off. Everywhere I look all I see are places, activities, and set pieces that have been in the game for years. Same said for most of the weapons. I get reusing designs, and I understand that not everything can be new all the time, but this feels like getting hand me downs after I’ve paid full price for new.

21 通の返信Remember when Bungie added Eververse to Destiny so they could fund and create more engaging live content between dlcs? Remember when Bungie started selling Season passes so they could create more engaging content between dlcs? oh boy I member. And now we have Holiday events, with their own paid passes LMFAO what a joke Bungie has always had a hit of a game, but they continue to fumble and flop with it nonstop shooting themselves in the foot, it's a damn shame.

1 返信Kiro - 13により編集済み: 12/9/2022 1:10:35 AMI have to say I was extremely disappointed with Bungie for re-skinning the warmind bunkers from "Season of Arrivals". 2 of 4 seasons sold to us were literally re-skinned destinations. What the hell happened to that 3.6billion dollars Bungie got from Sony?

1 返信I loaded up destiny for the first time in months. I couldn’t finish the opening mission😂 I’m so mad bungie doesn’t give a -blam!- about their craft And yet ppl like dark wolf will cry skill issue and DDoS attack anyone who disagrees Bungie loves ppl like them, which is why they can get away with selling dungeon keys
-
In all fairness this did this back in S17 and no one seemed to care. So naturally bungie figured they could get away with more. I even made a post back then pointing it out but only a handful seemed to care. Mostly I think it's disrespectful that they are reissueing old content that most people already paid for once and are now being sold it a 2nd time. I mean people who grinded things like Ikelos weapons and opulence weapons, should have had the blueprints unlocked or atleast some progress made as a reward for past efforts.

Literally everybody in my group has said they took parts of 3-4 seasons already played and put them into one. Music nodes have already been done seraph weapons have been in the game for years yet here we are getting them then season of the hunt stuff and some others. It also seems like we are going to be killing a guy again that we already hunted for an entire season.

Why are we not back on Mars then??? I'm still pissed they took 4 planets away, Especially Titan and Mars! And getting a couple short missions on Mars is NOT getting Mars back. I liked the Pirate theme last season, even though the 'story' and content seemed all used up after the first few weeks of the season. At least it felt like we got some newish stuff. This season seems dumb to begin with. No kool new anything. Story makes ZERO sense so far, just characters doing things with no regard to weather it makes sense, is in character or is at all logical. Oh yea, one more thing Bungie. That fixed level with enemies 5 levels higher BS!Screw you and your lazy garbage attitude!!! If the sweats want to choose higher difficulty content because they're masochistic, fine. I don't EVER want my level stuck 5 levels BELOW my enemy. NOT EVER! I want to feel like a GOD Tier Space Wizard, not some sucker a game developer conned into wasting time doing an extra tedious, extra difficult version of busy work. Gunship Ps. I planned on buying the season pass again for this season, but now I am reconsidering. I don't see ANYTHING I want from season pass or the season itself for that matter. Bungie added a TON of new stuff... to Eververse. So, thats meaningless. What's even worse? None of the new armor sets have kool looking Warlock gear!!' For that matter, I didn't really see anything in the new Eververse offerings I even want at all! Not even if they were free! And (of course), still no all black shader... Bungie does still plan on doing some Game Development right? At the moment they seem more focused on exploiting past efforts than on actually bringing anything truly awesome and new to the table.

2 通の返信Don't forget about the "new" environments that come with each season. For instance, more than half of the environment inside the Warmind Vaults are just rooms taken from the SABER strike with some hive crap put in them. All of this recycling and lack of new content is just insulting.

This is lazy development from Bungo ever since vicarious visions left them its been a nonstop copy-and-paste formula. Even the bosses are copied and pasted how many orge bosses have we had already in raids and dungeons copied and paste with different colors, Goloroth ( Taken King), Morgeth (last Wish), the orge boss from Grasp , The orge boss from Shattered Throne, The Orge boss from VOW, no innovation here but they pushing it like we suppose to be super excited.

4 通の返信Unfortunately I have already bought this season with the Witch Queen Deluxe Edition. I am already regretting it. I would ask for a refund if there were such an option. I have been feeling increasingly disappointed with the direction this company has taken over the last few years, especially when they announced their 'sunsetting' and, later on, their 'vaulting' system. And all the rest that has come afterwards it's been a total let down. So I had very low expectations when I logged in yesterday to see what the season was about. And after I saw that it was, once again, recycled content, I logged out in disgust and stayed away. The recent trend of asking for extra $$ for new dungeons, packages like the 30th Anniversary, and part of the special event's content is infuriating, considering how little we get for the money. I am not gonna put another penny into this game. Not for dungeons, nor for any future releases/seasons/packages or whatever else they concoct to leech players. As for Eververse, since its inception in D1, I made a point NEVER to spend any money into that store. And I never did. EVER. That's how much I've despised it all these years. Bungie's current business model is paid releases with recycled/reskinned content. After you play a little with it, they take it away (vaulting or sunsetting or nerfing whatever you have grinded over innumerable hours). Basically, they keep 'vaulting' and 'un-vaulting' the same content with each 'new' season, round and round in a never-ending cycle where they keep the money flowing without having to create anything new (except for the Eververse store of course). Not to mention the 'nerfs', the 'bugs', and the PVP mess which would require an entire chapter of their own. My patience with this franchise is at an end. I feel only disgust and regret. I used to love this game and I had played it a lot over the years! I have always given Bungie the benefit of the doubt, even when they messed up and screwed their player base on many occasions. I've always believed that they would do better next time and I kept purchasing new releases and season passes. From D1 all the way until now. NOT ANYMORE. My good will is over. There comes a time when GREED is too much even for an affectionate fan such as I used to be. I feel sad. Destiny has been a great game for me. I truly loved it. But all good things come to an end. Time to move on. No more money from me, Bungie. You have screwed up for the last time. I'll come back and play every now and then, whatever is available for free. Other than that, I am done.

5 通の返信I’m still trying to work out how this season ties into last season That was the point of seasons wasn’t it, to tie each dlc together Not sure how we went from fallen pirates to building an exo in the space of a couple of days

8 通の返信TheArtistにより編集済み: 12/9/2022 1:46:06 PMThat's EVERY season. What does this community think $3 a month buys?? I find it mind-boggling how this community just manufactures its own discontent by holding Bungie to expectations that they never agreed to....and distorted memories about what past versions of the game were like. Every season has been a reworking of old content and existing assets, with a sprinkling of new content on top. That is how Bungie is able to create seasonal content this CHEAPLY. So they charge us $3 a month instead of $15 like World of Warcraft, Elder Scrolls Online and Final Fantasy XIV do. Its like watching "CoD syndrome" work its way into the Destiny community. CoD Syndrome: The belief that the current version of the game is awful and will be the death of the franchise, while the previous version of the game was incredible and that Activision is ruining the game. Only to have the version of the game being complained about become "incredible" in hindsight once the next version of the game is released. Rinse and Repeat.

1 返信I can't believe it too, they found a way to save money by reusing assets and it's STILL fun, destiny truly is a top tier game

Snow, you better "believe" because it's real. And this is how Bungie will operate in the future too. Honestly I'm a little sad because of the old times and the fun I had with Destiny 2 but I'm not living in the past. Vote with your wallet... that's the only language Bungie understands. - They don't care about loyalty, even if those are the very best clients a business can have!

Honestly I agree. But personally I don’t think it’s that bad only becuase they’re the same place. The area you kill the boss is new but like the areas before are the Ema e becuase they are all bunkers I think it’s a little lazy that they went for this idea but the execution seem logical to me idk
