its time bungie, we officially need a new solar system and new planets with new threats.
The lore of destiny if filled with so many different types of species and civilizations and yet we never see any of them, dont you think its about time we did, dont get me wrong the species in destiny are amazing to fight but now the story is changing to were they are fighting with us not against us, we now need an enemy that is more formidably stonger than anything we have faced so far and completely different from anything we have seen so far, somthing uniquely different.
What? Bro we have seen about 1 city each on these planets except for Earth, planets were full of them. As well the next threat is going to be the Vex since they are the only race that have dominated others (like the Hive) as well we have never seen a Vex Combat frame.
Not only that we haven’t even seen gas giants or moons of others planets, so slow your role what we have now is fine
Also isn’t Neptune a gas giant????????? And we’re going there in a month or two ???????? Bro what are you talking about ?????!
Yes 1/4 of the gas giants in the solar system, there are 3 more to explore before even considering the idea (even then there are hundreds of other moons) of looking at another solar system.

Gilgameshにより編集済み: 12/4/2022 1:19:37 AM
Bro there's like almost 200 moons within the solar system. Jupiter has like 79 or something in itself. Maybe watch a documentary before saying that kind of thing 🤔
And Saturn has over 80, Hundreds is the plural of Hundred so it refers to any number between 100-999 And as there are definitively over 200 its a proper word to use. https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/moons/overview/
Ho yeah totally. But us smart boys know that. We've watched documentaries 😆 🤣 😂 I'm also Big on astronomy so...
Being smart doesn’t imply you watch documentaries. Also saying you are big on astronomy but you guessed the number of moons Jupiter has? That’s really close but you contradicted yourself by not being correct, normally i could honestly care less but calling me dumb by saying “us smart boys” and then saying you are BIG on Astronomy and still not getting the number right is just kinda embarrassing. You can watch all the documentaries you want, they are intended to be watched by people -blam!- information and are familiar with what is being discussed. And if you cant get a Gas Giants amount of moons correct then i cant believe you are smart or into Astronomy.
-
Wait...why are you firing shots at me? I was the one agreeing to your point and countering the guy that said go watch a documentary because hundreds was a wrong number. Chill your aggression dude. Jesus. Also, I was off by literally 1. I like astronomy so now I have to know the exact amount of moons around every planet? I said 79 or so, and the number is 80, because they modify the number over time. I can also tell you not all are named moons, but somewhere around 2/3s ARE. Or maybe I shouldn't say that cuz you may correct me and say it's closer to 1/4.

Or maybe I shouldn't say that cuz you may correct me and say it's closer to 1/4.
Because its still not right to make fun of someone, you may be agreeing with me but you made a claim and was wrong and that does need to be said. Also you said you were BIG into astronomy and implied you watched documentaries on Astronomy. Also its been 80 for years, not over time. For something to become a moon it takes a extremely long amount of time. Just because you agree with me it doesn’t mean im gonna be “haha lets make fun of someone” no, you made a claim and was called out
-
Bro you have serious issues. Just need to pick fights for the sake of it. No normal person would sit here and criticize someone for being off by literally 1 moon. There was also no making fun of anyone. He was making a claim to which he was off by hundreds and trying to act like he knew something more. To which I corrected and also, I didn't say exactly 79, I said 79 OR SO. You just need to relax on what needs to be called out and what was basically the right answer.
-
Yeah...didn't say I was an astronomer though. And it's literally the tiniest bloody detail
Its really not, you said you were smart, watched documentaries and were big into it. The amount of moons around a celestial body is definitely something someone into something enough to watch documentaries would know. You got called out dude, you aren’t what you claimed you were. You weren’t that “smart guy” or watch documentaries clearly and you are probably into Astronomy but just occasionally look stuff up on it. I called you out because it was obvious bs and im not gonna side with someone that can get caught that easily, just because you say im right doesn’t mean i have to side with you as well.
-
It literally, definitively is not. Total bs would be claiming that there NOT hundreds of moons. Because it was a point being made by someone with no knowledge of the subject at all. Knowledge of the subject means that the point is accurate or close to accurate. If you asked a baker how many teaspoons of something were supposed to go into a certain recipe, most would probably not be able to hive the exact measurement unless it was a recipe they did EVERY day in their job. Even then some may say something like "ah it should be 2 or 3". But it's not exactly what it was. You see, being intelligent does not mean you remember every number, name, location, etc of something. It means you have the knowledge of the approximate. Only the people that focus on a subject for careers or invested passion for decades will be able to memorize the detailed specifics, and even then, it's absurd to think they have to memorize all of that. Just think about this the next time you're ever off by even 1 number. Or make the slightest mistake at your job. Or have a rough idea of something. You'll see that it comes up more than you think. Nobody can know or do everything perfect, even their jobs and passions.
-
Your points are invalid, literally anyone can guess there is over 100 moons (hence why i say hundreds as its a plural which just means over 100-999) and your baker example is piss poor. A better example is someone who is big into cooking. Dont compare a actual profession to something like someone being big into something. You are just ignorant and im glad I didn’t side with you.
-
You're such a moron. The hundreds comment has nothing to do with what you called me on. It was the difference of 79...and 80. And you're acting like that difference is a big deal and makes my claim of loving space total bs. This argument didn't even have to happen. You could have simply just corrected me and said "actually it's 80" instead of trying to dismantle me entirely over me saying "79 or so" which in itself is not a definitive number, which is why I said "or so" because I remembered it was close to that. What you did was decide to make a fight over nothing, and I don't even understand why you did it with such hostility.
-
You made a claim, I dismantled it. You got upset and tried asking why i did that when you agreed with me. I explained to you why, you then decided to dismantle my argument but failed and now you are saying all this? My guy just stop responding and dont play a victim card
-
Except you didn't actually dismantle anything, but you make it out like there was something to dismantle. All you did was correct me, which I said was fine, but you did it through hostility and rudeness. That's all I'm confused about. 😕 I'm not dismantling anything either, I'm trying to figure out why you're so fanatically aggressive about the tiniest correction.

And do i really have to say it again? You literally said “us smart guys” saying that the person you were trying to call dumb was dumb, you made a plain insult to someone and i called you out on it. You weren’t a smart guy and you didn’t watch documentaries. And then you tried comparing my dismantlement of what you said to a Baker getting something wrong. When thats not even a close example
-
See you're taking the approach of I said we were smart about a topic therfore he must be stupid. No. Just not educated on the topic. Nothing wrong with that, other than the fact that he was uneducated and STILL tried to make you look dumb by claiming you were wrong when in fact HE was. Second. I HAVE watched many documentaries on Space. It's an amazing subject and I love it. So in this case you are incorrect about trying to say that I haven't. It's an illogical claim to make. 3rd, as I've said before. This isn't me being a victim, I've said you have been absurdly aggressive and rude about the content of your point, when all you had to do was make the simple 1 digit correction, in which I would have said thanks for the correction. I'm not playing victim. I'm not offended. I'm confused by the aggression behind your words. It doesn't make any sense to me and it doesn't fit the ... "crime" as it were. I have no issue being corrected when I'm wrong, but I wasn't wrong. But even had I been, I wouldn't have been upset at being corrected
-
My guy ive been on the internet long enough you were attempting to insult them. Not only that you did play the victim by constantly and still are massively over exaggerating the present situation. And clearly you are lying because now is when you decide to mention documentaries? Not after the previous times when you discussed the other things I mentioned. It was a decent deal since a number that hasn’t changed in years (i looked it up simple search) that for one of the gas giants of our solar system you said it had less moons then it had, a 1 number difference means -blam!-. You didn’t know you could have been 5 off and still been wrong it doesn’t make a difference to the degree you are making it. Then after providing a incorrect fact you come to me praising yourself when you got a simple astronomical fact wrong after claiming some decent insight (when the whole origin of this topic was -blam!- moons) Just drop it no one will believe you are playing a victim card
