3 通の返信The seasonal modal sucks. It provides no content. When Destiny was awesome it was when every release refreshed the entire game. The seasonal model just provides a glorified public event style activity wrapped in a fancy area & a few weapons to chase frames & level up crafted frames w/ ridiculous drop rates & Xp requirements. I would prefer if Bungie would just consolidate all of the dev time & resources put into the four season & just release a 2nd small expansion 6 months after the annual release. Story narrative vs. Action game balance. The game released in 2014 as an action game with all sorts of content, and expansions - but had no story. I mean, excluding the time lost on D2’s development causing the taken king content drought & how lack luster the launch of the game’s systems & core loot systems with D2 - this franchise had an amazing track record for pumping out engaging content - in good amounts - & on a regular bases under Activision. I know those two mistakes were big & soaked up time - but if it wasn’t for those upper management mistakes the studio can produce some of the most amazing content ever. With D2 the story telling got a lot better. With forsaken the game was seriously peaking with better story & action game content was going strong. After Bungie went solo &/or starting with S8 this games has slowly lost more & more of the engaging content & action game to where we are now - Destiny 2 gets great content on the annual expansions, but for the reset of the year its just a digital comic book with chores. Year 5 has been terrible for connections. As much money as this franchise makes, it seems it should be better. Poor handling of seasonal events. I completely under stand the seasonal events are free. But we used to get told that the Eververse store purchases funded cool stuff like season events & hidden secrets. The community continues to spend money in Eververse, but we get less & less quality/quantity of the pay off. Champion saturation in PvE & Champions in general make PvE not fun. At first I didn’t mind champions, but they are over played out & I agree with it restricting play style diversity = fun. I can understand champions for grandmaster nightfalls & stuff to put locked load outs as a modifier. But Master raids, Dungeons, Strikes & other content should have mini bosses like Briggs, Lucent Hive, Wyvrns, etc. We should only have to power level once a year. There should be a better way to unlock endgame activities & power up your character with just xp. Weapon crafting isn’t content. Weapon crafting has become the best way to get the weapons you want, & not what I thought it was going to be - a fail safe for bad RNG. In air effectiveness is killing the game & movement/skill clipping nerfs in PvP is making everything not fun. It’s like when we were kids playing games & someone kept telling on everyone. All & all it seems like ever since Bungie got control of this franchise, the passion for the game got lost. The quality & quantity of AAA studio content just isn’t there. It just feels like this game is just a cash cow for Bungie’s other projects right now & they don’t want to invest the resources & dev time the game needs to really get back to the glory days.

2 通の返信Destiny 2 is going, 100% in the wrong direction. I don't think Bungo are interested anymore in Destiny 2, i bet all the money they're making is going into Marathon a PvP based game.

1 返信This is not how Destiny was supposed to be. For some reason, I stuck with Bungie since their first game came out, thinking it’ll get better. It hasn’t. I’m not angry, just disappointed.

golgotha01により編集済み: 12/5/2022 12:26:45 AMIt's bad. Alot of stuff needs work, but they are too busy nerfing. Vendors need overhauls, nightfalls need the card system back desperately, the eververse stuff and monetization needs to be toned down, gameplay is now much worse than forsaken due to ae and some other stuff, pvp in shambles, subclass balance needs work, D2 just feels old and plays old.

OK lots of info. In, enough to see the majority of people who voted aren't happy with the game atm Queue Bungie response "We've looked at the figures and have decided to Nerf even more weapons, Nerf Warlocks, bring back more D1 gear, remove some pvp maps, make legendary shards only available through Eververse Store, remove bright dust, AE is removed too, and we're going back to using the Sinclair ZX81 as a server (😜like we ever stopped!)

33 通の返信The Hermit IXにより編集済み: 12/4/2022 1:01:34 AMIt’s pretty telling how many players on this forum hate the game and yet throw their money at the screen. It’s hysterical.

There’s more good than bad. The subclass reworks have generally been pretty good. Loot is still pretty good. Seasonal stuff gets a bit tired but you’re also not exactly meant to just grind your face against it for 3 months straight. The whole point of the downtime is to give you time to screw with the season and then ensure that you don’t miss everything because you left for a bit. The core playlists could use some love but they’re not awful. The playlist weapons are generally pretty solid and Destiny’s fundamental gameplay keeps things entertaining regardless. PvP is still a shitshow but that hasn’t changed since the beginning of D1. It’s always gonna be a mess.

3 通の返信In the middle. The current season is not necessarily indicative of Destiny 2's direction as a whole. Risen and Haunted were decent seasons. Light 3.0 was great for the most part. This season's loot was pretty fantastic. This season's story was a massive whiff. Depends on how Season 19 goes. If S18's story was just a bad mark, then that's it. If S19's story continues S18's downwards trend, that's super not good and Bungie needs to change direction because that downwards trend is going straight into Lightfall.

Loaded question for this forum… there are people on here that haven’t played the game in years but are still braying away like donkeys at midnight with rubbish takes about the state of something they don’t play

Servers are trash No dedicated pvp team = disgusting Huge disparity between classes in pvp AE killed entire play styles. Rip top tree dawnblade / daybreak shooting in air. Heat rises more of a penalty that a perk.

Potential is there, I think they need to restrict us less, like let it run wild like Diablo style, that will make for alot of ideas on what needs to be created. Can you imagine stacked exotics? If not you should totally try it, its great. Maybe they'd have less issue if they left the players to do crazy stuff. They've tried restricting more and its never worked, so maybe the answer is to go the complete opposite direction.

I picked option 3, the game has improved some of the bad stuff, but lessoned some of the good stuff imo. For me it currently stands as an alright game. I still like it, but not to the point to where I want to spend a lot time in anymore. I just hop on whenever now to do what it is I want, then log out, and then I play something else.

12 通の返信Crazy the forum full of casuals and peoples that hasn't played in years disagree with the "direction " of the game Yet the direction hasn't change and we just got way more content than before ....as for quality its about the same Forum is a hate sheep train 😂
