Do you ever realize that you can actually reach over the counter and punch the customer?
Honestly it’s almost entertaining, seeing the customers attitudes. 😂
We have a library three miles away. and someone came in, and said “I’ve been on hold for five minutes! I had to walk all the way from the library to get here!” And I’m wondering…how fast can this person walk?

1 返信In my years of retail and fast food work, I raised my voice to customers only 3 times. One was a scammer trying to grift money from one of my employees. One was a total Karen healing and cursing at a 16 year old girl (the Karen was obviously jealous of her youth and was acting like a seaward) The third was a woman in her 50s being super condescending to employees, talking very loudly across the store about how her order was “so simple” but no one could get it right… “maybe I need to go back there and train them how to make my order haha.” as if she was talking to someone else, who was all the way on the other side of the place, but she’d come alone. She was the worst of all of them because of her sheer entitlement and self absorbed arrogance. Her order was made exactly the way she ordered it, but because she really had no idea what she was ordering, she didn’t get what she expected. Never reached across to punch anyone, although there were so many times I wished they would give me a legit reason to lol.

2 通の返信Worked retail for awhile. Had some guy try to return shoes that had holes in the front and the treads were gone. I said “no”. He said “I’m never shopping here again”. I responded with “ok”

6 通の返信I think anyone who works in a customer service job should be allowed to say “-blam!- you” to a customer, 3 times a year, with no punishment whatsoever. I know 3 isn’t a lot, but at least it would provide some release and the person on the receiving end would know you definitely meant it.
