[Fixed] Still getting code Beagle

Hi Bungie, today I started up Destiny 2 and after an "Installing destiny 2 Verifying content" screen I got the beagle error code on pc. I was running it from an m2 ssd, with steam I verified the integrity of the game files and nothing was wrong. I Uninstalled the game and installed in on my HDD, still the same error code. Deleted it again, downloaded another game on the HDD and played it, that worked. Installed Destiny 2 again and got the same error after verifying content. Am I missing something? what else can I do? My pc specs (maybe that helps) - amd 5 5600x - MSI 1070ti - 32GB DDR4 3600mhz cl16 - 1TB samsung 970 evo m2 - 1tb wdc blue - msi x570 gaming pro motherboard - windows 10 pro 64 bit

  • Apologies for not having a solution, but I have the same problem. Game crashed without an error code, the gave Marmot on relaunch in a Windows dialogue box. File verification was an issue, but after they were verified, I get Beagle at 100% on the in game verification screen every time. I've checked my disk health and tried multiple drives as an install location. I've tested my RAM in Memtest86 and it passed. Every time I verify the files, 3-5 fail to validate. It reacquires them, patches the game and I get the same error code on the in game install screen. I've tried full reinstall on multiple drives, changing admin and compatibility settings, installing all Window updates, installing the latest nVidia drivers and every other fix I've been able to find on the internet. Nothing works. I'll leave my specs too, if it'll help. AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super 32GB G.Skill DDR4 at 3600mhz WDBlack 500GB nvme SSD (standard D2 install location) ASUS TUF Gaming x570 Pro Wifi Windows 10 Home 64 bit My motherboard was defective so I swapped it out, but it was the same model. I cannot pinpoint the issue here.

  • thanks for your reaction. I looked some more online and found a solution that worked for me in a steam community discussion. I tried the following "Go to the file location C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp and find the Destiny 2 folder. Rename it anything else and suddenly the game works fine"
