It’s easy to predict what’s about to happen when you’re loading into a match and seeing your opponents wearing Peregrine Greaves.
1. They’re not going to use their weapons.
2. They’re going to run the field to build up their charge/speed and/or their overshield.
3. They’re going to melee charge into you for an easy one hit kill.
Doesn’t matter your resilience. Doesn’t matter if you dodge or dash or leap. The damage output combined with the ability’s and exotic’s tracking is going to kill you. You can shoot them all you like beforehand and do your best to evade, but it’s far too potent.
Bungie, for the love of the Traveler, you stated not so long ago that you wanted more gunplay in the game, but what we have this season is an insane uptick in ability spamming for supremely easy kills with little to no risk.
Frankly, no melee should ever kill any guardian with decent resilience and who’s at full health. And the fact that it is allowed is appalling, broken, and a slap to every player who learned how to use their weapons.
Please NERF Peregrine Greaves and the Titan melee!

Seriously? They nerfed the shoulder charge into uselessness already. When a warlock can 1-hit melee and kill a Titan AFTER being shoulder bashed…. The problem is not the shoulder charge. Now you’re crying about a single exotic that potentially has a 1-hit chance if they can get in close.

Hahaha, wow, cry me a river. There an exotic that increases the damage while in the air. Titans also build for resilience, recovery, and strength. I rather deal with titans that do this than a titan that can spam storm grenades. Here's a better nerf. Nerf the range of the melee but allow them to get the hit and register if in range. If shooting a weapon like a shotgun, remove all momentum so that the melee isn't being used. This is what melee was like when gambit was first introduced. Titans had the best combo to one phase the primeval but that was nerfed. But when arc 3.0 came this combo is back. Now the nerf to melee range I feel is needed cause not only myself but I've see Titans reach melee range that shouldn't have been giving to them. With this it'll allow another exotic to be used as well. But the whole one hit melee is part of an exotic. There are better ideas to balance them out. Like I'm gonna blame arc 3.0 for Titans being strong this season. But hey I too also use this type of build and I love killing players in there super.

1 返信If Titans can have 1hk shoulders for every subclass and Hunter's can have 1hk knives, punches and Dives (under certain circumstances) then can we agree that at the very least, Hand Held Super Nova should be a 1hk if you have the weaken grenade fragment on? 🤷

1 返信You're wrong about them not using a weapon, they have a shotgun glued to their hands and the switch weapon button disabled
