Low key took what could have been an entire season’s worth of plot trying to actively wake Osiris up into a throw away scene…
This screams to me that next season was originally going to be Osiris themed, but was scrapped too late to remove him from the Lightfall showcase. Therefore no season, but he’s kinda needed for the plot of Lightfall = Deus Ex Folgers

Yeah… he gets a bit overdone. I’d say the same thing about Caital seasons at this point. Been waiting on a Toland season for 3 years at this point… Toland, Shin Malphur, Marcus Ren, Efrideet, Lord Saladman, Shaxx, Asher… So many good options they haven’t touched yet

I still think the next season will involve Osiris, but not in trying to awaken or rescue him. In leading us to Neptune. Could be wrong, but one thing I’m seeing that I see nobody talking about is that if season 19 ends with LF’s release it will have been by far the shortest season all year. So it’s one of three things. The seasonal story in 19 will be the shortest. Or there will be almost no down time after the seasonal story concludes. Or LF releases in the middle of season 19 and season 20 doesn’t release for several weeks after.

12 weeks. About on par with season of the risen, so yeah on the shorter end for a season in the past year or two. Shouldn’t be much of an issue on that front. I highly doubt Bungie will overlap releases. As far as having Osiris be involved, yeah I could see that but it’s still a bit odd considering him being possessed was a huge plot point for the past year. Feels a bit anti-climatic for Bungie’s recent standards.
