I know this is going to trigger some, that’s fine. I know before this reintroduction it was rough for a person who just wanted to go in and compete. Freelance has made it some what better for us low end players.
I know there’s the “how are you going to get better” out look, and I will with time and when my K/D gets better I will be up there with better players.
Yes, the load times are slower, but it’s looking for players with or near my k/d, and not just throwing me to the wolves. I know it’s fun for higher players to pug stomp, but now hopefully it’s against your own level.
Now I feel it’s equally for both sides in sbmm. But I know bungie will more than likely go back away from sbmm in new light. That’s fine, but as of now I’m really enjoying PvP for the moment.
Please note this is not any way, shape,or form of crying or complaining, just noting my experience with sbmm at the moment.

5 通の返信Congrats! People like you are the reason the game is dying. At least you potatoes are having fun, you guys play 5 pvp games a week and think sbmm is perfect. Thanks for crying about pvp quitters too, I cant even take a dump before getting banned for 10 minutes. I had one quit per day because of personal issues and the 3rd day I got banned for a few minutes over an emergency, But hey cool lets ban players on a casual mode.

4 通の返信LoL crucible is at a RECORD LOW POPULATION # 190k across all 3 platforms… All because you have to have your hand held by mother Bungie. Even though the casuals said they’d play more of SBMM would be turned on… yet here we are. Yet again…

The game never needed it. What it needed was a system that matched fireteams. Which we are finally getting soon but no idea if it’s actually gonna work cause Bungle. And then lobby balancing. There really aren’t that many god tier players. If there’s one on the other team that fine. That’s one player to avoid on their side and to actually help you improve

1 返信It's the right thing to do. You can argue until the end of time, it will still be the right thing to do. People sub 1kd have no place playing against people 2+kd. Period. No argument can change that. Every major game has it and should have it.

It put me between a rock and a hard place. I play with my parents (yes, it’s lame but they like it). They suck, so when I play with them I get griefed and reported for “smurphing” matchmaking or whatever. Then, when I play on my own, I have the issue that my own stats are skewed and my teammates get mad if I drag them down. THIS is the unfortunate truth that the “sweats” or “casuals” miss when they sling the same tired insults at each other. Some of us just want to play the game and it feels like things are incessantly changing around us. I agree with new player protection, and you can’t please everyone, but I was happier before this change.

Its nice to see an honest post based on your experience with SBMM instead of it being about how much people that you don't like deserve to play something broken. You know what's weird for some people? Its that when you had to play people with nonsensically high k/ds back when the game was (what I will begrudgingly call) CBMM it was a lot like now where you could tell certain things were playing the matches more than the players sometimes. Neither scenario should be the goal imho.

12 通の返信SBMM is basically just for people who "hold forward and spray". If you're a moderate or a great player, you're absolutely screwed by crap connections and sweaty matches day in and day out. That gets incredibly boring extremely fast. You think it's annoying playing full teams of invis Hunter's every match rocking the most meta trash imaginable, that's what SBMM is, add lag on top of that. Unplayable. But I do have an honest question. Do 3.0 KD players actually exist? I've been around for a long time and have seen thousands of players with high kds and I have never seen any player with a lifelong KD of 3.0 which is vastly different from a KDA. Heck, some of the best destiny pvp players don't even have a lifelong 3.0kd I feel people over exaggerate how "good" the players they are fighting actually are just because they do something differently or use meta weapons. Not all players hold forward and shoot wildly.
