Tired of Legendary and Master Lost Sectors
I’m just tired of having to farm lost sectors for new exotic gear each season. It isn’t an enjoyable experience. Not because it’s hard (it’s not), but because it’s boring. grinding/speed running the same activity solo, over and over again sucks and takes away from hanging out with friends and doing activities I actually enjoy.
I wish they would drop new exotic gear from completing special bounties like in D1. That was a fun chase in my opinion. Also, wouldn’t mind them dropping from other end game content like nightfalls.
I also think being handed a new seasonal exotic weapon is pretty boring. I would be more excited if they were random chance or earned
Where would you like to see new exotics drop from?

1 返信I remember liking doing them but I’ve only maybe farmed 2-3 exotics from lost sectors. Just meant I could target farm an exotic I use a lot. I don’t do lost sectors that often so was actually enjoyable to do for me. I think with anything if it’s the same over and over can get boring. Am I right in saying you only have to unlock the armour that way, then it can drop in the world right?. I don’t think it’s the worst system I guess.

I've recently been concentrating on getting my times down, plus attempting Master, as the challenge. I ran about 20 the other day and got multiple versions of everything on offer. I reckon the drop rate is pretty good.

Also BS that most of the time you get some other shitty armour rather than the specific one. Also BS that when it does drop it has -blam!- stat/ or not what you need. I think Ehroar did a vid talking about this issue too. Edit: The drop rates are not that bad I suppose it just seems to me that it’s quite inconsistent (or just my bad luck). There’s also no other viable farm option for exotics

I think the level of enjoyment is subjective. The repetition is annoying, but the drop rates are 100x better than before. Last I read, it's like 25%. If you were around, remember farming Mindbender's in Hollowed Lair. It had like a 1% drop rate, and even if you got one, the roll sucked major. That's what I don't miss.

1 返信Lost Sectors are the simplest method to acquire them. It's mindless but not difficult at all, especially for longer term players. For newer players, it teaches them how to deal with the wonders of Champions and gives them a method to acquire everything to catch up in a simple rotation. The Mod aquisition is the real shitshow. I do, wholeheartedly, agree with the seasonal exotic.....you either get it immediately or you wait a bit. It should be quest driven.
