Just asking because it'd be nice and please don't bother mentioning Phoenix dive or Icarus dash. Both on the same class and the class is dead for pvp after airborne effectiveness update, Heat rises has massive draw backs and phoenix dives cool down.
Just asking.

Just needs a faster cast time imo. And the exotic vesper of radius reworked so With solar subclass rift scorches nearby targets precision kills grant radiance. With arc subclass rift jolts nearby targets precision kills amplify With void subclass rift supresses nearby targets and precision kills grant devour. With stasis subclass slows nearby targets and precision kills grant the headstone perk or chill clip to weapons already with headstone

1 返信Arc warlock should have leaned into blink as an identity. If arc hunters get it, and arc warlocks got a blink melee, then we could have had a whole class centered around short range teleportation abilities as the class identity. Instead we got just the melee and super blinks, and the super blink is underwhelming compared to nova warp.

9 通の返信Don't bother mate... 80% titans and hunters ... Warlocks got no reasonable voice in these forums anymore

1 返信If we ever got something like that, it'd just be nerfed in a week anyway. Warlocks can't have shít nowadays, you know better.

13 通の返信Rift is so predictable you die before you get the benefits of rift. If a warlock goes behind cover they’re probably putting a rift down and are about to get shot down

1 返信The big problem regarding this is how Bungie has made the bulk of the game focused towards a team-built effort. If you’re fighting solo you’ll more than likely lose if you’re not being smart with your rift or if the enemy has something like an easy kill secondary like a sniper or gl that can hit you in it with the aoe detonation. Fighting as a team with another player benefitting from a rift like a Lorely Titan and running something like Boots of the Assembler or Stag to bolster makes it a pretty strong combo. Imagine trying to buff rifts like this. Again, that’s only one scenario if you’re using Warlock like the support-focused class it is based off of. This is more than likely why they are so reluctant to make any changes over the fear of it being overpowered, either in PvP or some End-game PvE content. Majority of the instances that folks are complaining about Rift not saving them were probably solo engagements I’d wager, which is definitely a skill issue. That aside, they should get more ability and perk options to choose from and a better selection of exotics imo, but I honestly can’t think of a worthwhile qol change or buff that could make Rift better without also busting it in team-focused scenarios.

Fujimooseにより編集済み: 11/21/2022 8:08:44 PMSo I’ve been playing with all three of my classes in this iron banner. For the longest time I’ve just played as my titan. And I have to say the hunter was the easiest. Then it was my titan followed by my warlock. And I remember breaking from an engagement to try and heal on the twilight gap map. I ran to where C flag is and hid behind a box to throw down a rift. Well that guy I was fighting before was determined to kill me and he knew what I was doing because he charged in and got the kill. Titan and hunter abilities don’t require you to be stationary. You can throw down a barrier to block things from killing you so you can properly disengage. Hunters get a dodge and with the right builds turn invisible, disorient opponents close by etc. Warlocks get a rift that require being stationary in a game that’s all about movement. Maybe warlocks could get an exotic to make them invisible both on screen and radar when they activate their rift. Or have something like helm of St. 14 where coming near the rift disorients or even does DOT damage if people stand in it, that is if we don’t have those now. But I don’t think they do.

xTh3XPr0g1dyxにより編集済み: 11/21/2022 10:04:46 PMHealing grenades are better than rift lmao, and everyone gets them. The reason the other class abilites are so strong because they synergize with many exotics and fragments. Rift has almost nothing to proc when using it.

2 通の返信Rift should just get a duration buff, if it could stay for at least twice it’s time people would use it more as intended. Pre fight Buff empowerment to stay for longer and healing shorter but the animation is way faster.

How about they stop nerfing everything that isn't Dawnblade and stop taking away and maybe just maybe i'll play warlock again. I refuse to play Dawnblade and I have better stasis on my hunter then shadebinder which will become the new dawnblade. This crappy pigeonhole feeling is how hunters felt until Bungie reversed the nerfs. Warlocks swapped places with hunters and now they get the condescending replies and git gud Reponses or that was easy mode garbage. The Warlock don't have to be just Dawnblade but the community and Bungie more so won't allow it and its killing the class. Hunter nerfs brought this on and warlock nerfs will eventually lead to another massive ability nerf and that will kill the game for good. People need to understand that without abilities this class does nothing. The Warlock was my favorite class but the nerfs to abilities and the class have gone too far and this is why 3.0 was a flop and why strand will be no different. Stop with the nerfs and add more options, invis was never a problem until truesight became harder to proc, oem tracking nerf, sanguine nerf/rework, and just lack of counterplay. In air accuracy makes dawnblade a liability and I hate premise behind the class. I wanna see all classes do well but the community holds it back and Bungie is showing their age and lack of ideas.
