Cause whoever it is, is single-handily killing your game.
We don’t need another round of nerfs regarding ability/super usage, we don’t need a 60/40 gunplay/ability balance.
D2 Year 1 had this, and it almost killed the franchise.
If you keep on reducing your game to being no-different from any other shooter on the market, people will just leave either of disillusion with the direction, or for the games with tighter gunplay and more frequent balancing of it. (The competitive crowd in this case)
Forsaken had teething issues sure, but it was the best the franchise had been since TTK, both from a PvE and PvP perspective.

1 返信Yep, you're right. The game needs separate balancing between pvp and pve, something we've asked for since d1, but they refuse to commit to it. And with only 2 years left, they not going to change it now. They going to keep pushing the myth of 'same guardian no matter the activity', and just get through these 2 years.

17 通の返信I do love that more and more people are starting to realize that streamers are a huge part of the problem Now we just need to get to a point where everybody sees it and stops blindly following them and giving them money No viewers = no money No viewers = no platform to spew their nonsense

1 返信You don't want gunplay to be the main thing? Oh boy. There we go. The reason i don't care nearly as much about the game as i used to. Cringe kids who can only mow down enemies with cheese ability spam are the loudmouths who turned this game from an awesome halo like SHOOTER into this cringe "space magic" ability spam easy mode free to play garbage game. We already have enough ability spam MMOS and looter shooters out there. One way to ruin the last actual weapon based one by turning it into another ability spam fiesta trash game. Gunplay was what carried this game. You seem to forget that.

28 通の返信Datto, cross, paul and a few others just recently all made videos on how supers and abilities all need nerfs. And now here we are. Streamers are cancer to games. They will push their grandma in front of a train for views.

I partially agree with the commenter. I wouldn't mind the nerfs so much if Bungie buffed some of the other neglected items. I would like Bungie to have a 1:1 nerf:buff ratio. In other words, for every nerf they have to introduce 1 buff. I also really wish there was some love for exotic armor or weapons that nobody uses. In other words, rework some of the less used exotics.

2 通の返信They must be listening to little ol' me. I'm very excited about these upcoming changes. The 3.0 ability sweep has advanced power creep dramatically. The only thing I didn't like in the TWAB was Chaos Reach not getting a PvE damage buff.

They're listening to streamers. Every major nerf in the last 3-4 years has had major streamer support. SaltaWhiner wants divinity nerfed because it makes the game too easy for him. He plays with the same 19 dudes and getting into his clan requires an obstacle course of nonsense and a "vibe check" that's basically seeing how much you fan boy out while playing with him. Literally no attention to the fact that only 6% of the game population even has the gun, or that it comes in handy during LFG Sherpa runs, streamers don't play with normal people, and no normal person wanted divinity nerfed. That's how this game got into the state it's in. Nerfs to keep the streamers happy so they keep streaming and giving Bungo that free, free word of mouth advertising. It's a parasitic relationship, and they're both feeding in everyday normal players.

Issue one is pvp dictates pve to much if it's busted in pvp it gets hard nerfed and makes it useless in pve. Issue to is we've got all these elitist who want the game to be way harder then it is and majority of players just wanna play and have fun.

You will be attacked by people trying to defend their jobs when you speak your mind 💯 I'm still getting replies to a remark that warlocks have been nerfed to the point I can't use it with out being a well for dps at a boss

I can tell you're a pve guy. From a pve standpoint, nothing should be changed/nerfed. However, pvp and more specifically Trials, are at their worst states (I think) they have ever been in, due to the current sandbox. Bungie can't just ignore the entire pvp community, so thats why they have planned berfs and sandbox changes. Now, if you ARE a pvp guy, then the nerf you're probably upset about is invis. If that's the case, God help you.

Ffs more gunplay focused again, the only reason i play destiny as my main game since 2014 its because of its originality, fps+rpg+space magic+abilities, a handfull of game styles mixed in 1 but here we go into the trending train of competitive gunplay, throw a battle royale in it and you will have the same copy paste the gaming industry has been regurgitating for the last few years "yawn" while were at it throw in a round based match style like counter strike and rainbow six we dont have enough of those yet... oh yeah i forgot about trials of osiris

2 通の返信I find it funny that people were complaining about ability spam They nerf it and now it’s no longer something people wanted

17 通の返信Realistically if they listened to us they would: 1. Buff our class so much it would be OP. 2. Nerf every other class into the ground. 3. Buff all the weapons we like. 4. Nerf all the weapons we don’t like. The trouble is because there’s lots of us and we all like different things they can’t do what we want because basically we’re just one giant contradiction.
D2 Year 1 had this, and it almost killed the franchise.
D2 year 1 did not have a 60/40 gunplay to abilities. Some games would end before people could get their super and grenades and melees were still on a massive timer. We had none of our cooldown boosters that are the standard for gameplay today. Year 1 was closer to 80/20 or even 90/10.

1 返信TheShadowにより編集済み: 11/4/2022 1:43:01 PM
Cause whoever it is, is single-handily killing your game.
Nah, this Bungie has done well enough on their own when it comes to that. The damage done to this game has gotten worse over time and a lot of it has to do with PvP/Streamers. This Bungie spent so much time since Activision left on how to make that cash that they don't even see the damage they have caused or they just don't give a flying hoot, and despite anyone's opinion, the player base is the one paying for it in many ways that is not a good thing at all. Tbh, anyone can blame whoever but at some point, reality has to set in that Bungie is the one making these calls, they are the ones designing the game, and they should be held responsible for a lot of the poor decisions for the game because making a buck is way more important than designing a decent quality type of game that the original Bungie was aiming for but the selfish higher-ups took over an this is where we are today. This Bungie is all about selling whatever, having the streamers help sell whatever then ripe it away from you, and then rinse and repeat. This Bungie has most of you right where they want you...

11 通の返信Overpowered abilities/exotics trivialize both PVE and pvp. Some form of balance absolutely needs to exist.
