Not gonna grovel and try to get pity, you know our current state, you know it's laughably bad and somehow it feels like the devs don't see how warlocks were left after 3.0. Somehow I was told "you don't even have it yet, don't complaint" when the changes were announced and then our projections were rather on point. It doesn't help that everything we do is done by others anddone better, rifts are the worse class ability by far, take forever to cast, have low model movement and your head hitbox remains still like you're begging for that headshot. Chaos reach got nerfed because it countered the stasis meta and never got brought back. Penumbral blast got nerfed in 9 days compared to the whole 12 months it took for Shatterdive to be addressed. The mantra of "releasing something too strong and tuning it later" seems to never fall upon us and it really makes me wonder, should I be optimistic? Should I just switch? Face the sunken cost of the a vault empty of items for other classes? The fact that my fashion game is non-existent in the other two because I don't play them, I don't main them because I have a job, should I just forfeit my class? Maybe I should, I mean the Architect subclass for Lightfall looks dull and uninspired, like its super will be the unloved child of Blade Barrage and Nova Bomb (Cataclysm).

I literally don't play warlock for anything except super easy random content For raids I'm on my titan for crucible it's hunter. There's literally no reason to play warlock now it completely sucks now

As a Hunter main, I was looking forward to possibly seeing some damage buffs to both stormtrance and chaos reach, but nothing. I can barely tickle some yellow bar enemies with an entire stormtrance super.

All we can hope for at this point is that Warlock usage dips so low across the board that Bungie will finally have to give it some actual attention. They announced some buffs in today's TWAB, but they kinda missed the mark (as usual). They didn't really address the pain points of the subclasses, other than giving Arc Souls a bigger buff.

13 通の返信I play warlock but not as main character, I also find it to be the least fun to play of the 3.

Warlocks have always been Bungie’s ugly step child. They hate Warlocks, and it’s obvious, and are always sucking on the teets of Hunters. It’s just the way it’s always been and, sadly, the way it will always be. We’re not allowed t have anything cool.

3 通の返信Dredgen Araphelにより編集済み: 11/4/2022 3:40:53 AMWarlock lost themselves and everything when abilities were nerfed into oblivion. They know it's an uphill battle, they know deep down the hunter is a skill class and the player is what makes the class not the class and if abilities got buffed then they would still be in the same position because hunters are better now and abilities are bad and will be better when abilities if and when they get buffed. Warlocks have no skill gap and bungie is afraid to bring back the glory days of the warlocks when they were just powerful and the pursuit of power was the goal not removal of said power. Warlocks have no identity, no skill gap, no more abilities, and now not even the will and drive to keep going. I swapped when the ship was burning but its sad to see my favorite class in this state.

12 通の返信TheHopeWithinにより編集済み: 11/3/2022 7:22:30 PMI agree that it is incredibly demoralizing as a warlock main to feel like you are intentionally throwing in high end PVE just for choosing to play the class you love instead of a titan or hunter. We don’t have the dps and for titans especially the well doesn’t matter at all. Warlocks are no longer the grenade class at all And we’re not the healing/support class I joke all the time to friends about how I can’t wait for hunters to get a strand turret. Solar especially is honestly just gut wrenchingly awful. God what I would give for 2.0 solar to be back. Warlocks don’t have an identity in 3.0 at all.

81 通の返信Most Crucible players are either Hunter or Titan mains. So ANY time there is something that is strong or effective for Warlocks, you're going to get loud demands for it to be nerfed. Especially from streamers and content creators whose livelihoods are dependant upon their looking dominant. So they have a financial incentive to keep trying to tip the balance of the sandbox in their own favor.

I'm convinced that people who make these posts or complaints don't make actual builds. I mean I think my solar/void warlock builds are much more fun than anything I have on my titan or hunter, for those same subs.
-
I mean you’re currently running lunafaction boots with PvP weapons and you shouldn’t fork out $100 for a pre order to get a weapon, that only reinforces whatever bungie is doing when you basically donate them money for next to nothing…

1 返信Oh boohoo deal with it man. Been around for just as long. Although sad to see the nerds hunters and especially titans have been very far from the same level of useful as warlocks in the past seasons with the new 3.0’s you guys have been catered to quite well if I say. Every time hunters or titans got a debuff we didn’t complain. Warlocks get checked and all the sudden things are in chaos for them

45 通の返信Everyone always saying shatterdive took long to get nerfed...yet it got nerfed in 3 weeks after release. But the problem wasnt shatterdive...the problem was glacier grenade...which everyone has and could shatter easily. And penumbral blast was and still is the most broken stasis pvp ability.
