The Bungie Bounty abandonment disqualification rule needs to go.
For those not aware, a rule was recently introduced which states that habitually leaving activities during Bungie Bounty timeframes can disqualify you from receiving the emblem. This rule is honestly asinine. If an event incentivizes loading into a playlist and getting lucky while doing so, players should not be penalized for leaving if they don't get the 1 in several thousand chance they were looking for, especially in strikes or Ketchcrash since those activities don't have quitter penalties anyway. In the time that it takes to do an activity, the one hosting the Bounty could be done with theirs and onto the next depending on what they get in their playlist, how good their teammates are in comparison to another team's, etc. I understand that Bungie Bounty events are supposed to be a fun thing meant to be done every so often. It definitely isn't fun when two teammates who don't care about the rule leave a strike and leave the third player alone to complete the strike and waste time that they could be using for another chance at the emblem. Many others have openly expressed their reasons to be upset with this rule and they are all very reasonable.
Honestly they just need to drop the whole idea. WHo cares about "hunting" forum randos?
Like it was cool when we were going after popular pillars of the community and running them into the ground but now it's just a snooze.
I mean, while screwing other people just doing normal activities is a terrible recipe for fun..I do not blame you. Bungie designed this entire experience poorly. Like they have a lot of things recently with regards to conducive team play.
Yet they continue to despise solo players...This shouldve been the greatest game ever made and instead it's just kinda gross.
