Keep in mind the bad luck protection is only a weekly +1% as it is only awarded based of your 1st account clear of the week.
So after 50 clears your drop chance would only be around 17%. To reach 100% drop chance it would take 1 year and 8 months worth of clears each week.

Personally I think once you get to 20 clears, bad luck protection should go from 1% per week to 5% per week. Then every 10 clears after 20, you'll gain a bonus of 3% added. I believe this would allow you to hit 100% drop chances within something like 6 months.
