All you people who asked for SBMM said: "i am going to play pvp so much more if SBMM comes back".
Funny enough that overall player numbers for pvp are dropping like flies. The numbers are horrible. Queue times are long. Matches are as laggy as never before. The games you get to play are a sweatfiesta. Always.
So my question to you guys is, wasn't it the game being in a terrible state with the ability spam meta, an ancient engine, an ancient netcode, no map variety, no rewards, no appropriate balancing for exotic outliers, pvp being abandoned for over 3 years now? Wasn't all that the thing that made pvp unenjoyable?
But no. You guys had to make it worse by crying for SBMM. The season slowed down. Usually that's the point where people like me were only logging in to play pvp cause theres nothing to do otherwise. Now that SBMM made the games pvp literally unplayable, people like me entirely quit and only log in on reset for like an hour every week.
Have fun with your dead pvp game mode SBMM lovers. You won't be missed while i play actually fun and rewarding games.

If they hadn’t introduced the most ridiculous quitting system into the most user friendly game mode then you would probably have seen a rise in numbers. Even casual players don’t want to waste ten minutes against a stacked “sbmm” team let alone bother with the 30 minute time out. Now if they had put it in clash there would have been an all out whine fest and it would probably have been removed the next day.

Match making is the least of my concerns why I'm not maining the crucible, not that I asked for sbmm anyway. While I benefited from it some, it doesn't take away from the fact the mode is inherently busted with broken classes/subclasses/abilities, stupid forced meta buffs or nerfs, shitastic networking issues, ghost bullets, hit registration, melee registration, lag, desync, etc. If Bungie cared about pvp as much as some of these people think they should maybe the mode would be bearable.

4 通の返信Strict or moderate SBMM makes. the top few % sook. Too loose or minimal SBMM makes casual and new players have a bad experience so they leave which is what we are seeing as SBMM is very loose at the moment. Essentially the top few % ruin it for both themselves and everyone else as when the casuals and new players leave only the top %ers are left so it eventually effectively forces SBMM regardless of the weighting.

OleHead315により編集済み: 11/1/2022 9:25:51 PMYou forgot it’s no longer sbmm. Don’t worry though, most intelligent people been left and nothing will bring them back. So, enjoy farming a few noobs for literally nothing but a number that’s about as relevant as trump

1 返信CORPERATE COMMANDERにより編集済み: 11/1/2022 9:27:53 PMThey all left after 2 weeks not because sbmm but because bungie caved in to streamers and pvp sweats and loosed it in favor of cbmm so sweats could play kids and keep their kd and ego boost

Although I can't stand SBMM and probably hate it more than just about anyone you do have to factor in the fact that overwatch and cod just came out in the last few weeks/days so a lot of the recent drop in player population is probably due to those games releasing. Its probably better to assume the people doing PvP know what they're doing and so when people are ready to come back to destiny seeing as how all three games are quite different from each other it will probably be around the time next season starts and the glory rework will be ready. Those games were bound to take some of the population for a while and there's really no reason to pretend like they wouldn't. What I'm wondering is what that glory rework is going to look like because every single PvP mode in the game currently is directed at a group of players that you can't really expect to continue to play PvP a ton as the season goes on regardless of what other games come out or what the matchmaking is.
