I think players have a hidden luck stat, and the more money you spend on micro transactions and battle passes the higher it goes up effecting exotic weapon drop chances.

I can tell you before kings fall id have genuinely thought you’re on to something with this line of thinking; a friend of mine got anarchy, 1k and vex within a few runs and buys ridiculous amounts of silver but as of last week he’s ran KF 23 times and has no touch so he’s questioning a few of his life’s choices and will be pulling his hair out if it doesn’t drop today 😂

Because you have "discovered" something new, thus the game will put it up on the same % droprate as other stuff, compared to before. This has been this way forever, even in D1 It's been that way. Proof: in D1 i didn't buy Gjally from Xur, only ever got it to drop from VoG in hidden exotic chance chest during the rise of iron era, afterwards that same day my subsequent drop of it was from a nightfall, my third drop was from an exotic engram. Clearly the % chance for dupes skyrockets ONLY once you "discover" something.) It's like armor and weapons, the game favors dropping you weapons more often than armor when you really really need it, and when it comes to armor if what you're missing is a pinnacle in a specific slot .. you'll get anything else but that slot to get a drop. The game is rigged, has been from the start.
Yes, another guy that takes one isolated example as proof for a general rule. Btw: I stopped playing the first day BL dropped, resumed just before Xmas. Took me another 20 weeks time to get EoT.
Bruh never getting gjally since day 1 of Destiny 1 and ONLY getting dupes back to back right after finally getting lucky enough to get Gjallarhorn from the VoG chest IS as much proof it's comically rigged Do you really think bungie applies rng chance evenly and fairly to everyone? And even then, there's the literal fact that you get duplicates to drop easy once you finally rng chance "discover" something
You can prove your point using empirical data. Anything else is just nonsense. That's how this works IRL. You show hard evidence. Btw: rng in computer games is simulated.
Seeing as this is bungie we're talking about we would never be able to lay eyes on anything data related nor would they tell us (and tell the truth) really So no real way to even test it out
