I don’t think its in a bad state personally, although I’m not a PvP main…
However it is the slow part of the season. Played through Borderlands 2 again a few weeks ago and then tried out overwatch 2.
Heads up to anyone looking at overwatch, it doesn’t play at all like how you remember and honestly it feels very meh. Every so often there’s a fun couple of rounds but the other times you’re either waiting 5-7 minutes to play DPS or tank, or you pick Support and get your teeth kicked in for 10 minutes. Overall, I’d give it a 6/10 personally…
Anyways… looking for good suggestions for a new game to pick up. Was tempted to go for the new CoD, but wasn’t sure.

CoolUsername321により編集済み: 10/31/2022 5:08:05 PMIt’s basically the same as overwatch 1 before the crossover to 2 the only thing that changed is there’s only 1 tank and lower wait times So if you thought ow1 was a 10/10 you would think this is and so on and so forth

The switch from 6v6 to 5v5 was a massive change. The two games don’t play at all similarly. Wait times went up from this past spring (played a lot the month or so before witch queen). Damage was at around 5 minutes (compared to 6-8 now), tank was down around 3-4 minutes (compared to 5-6 now). The only one that’s fast right now is support. That’s for good reason though as the removal of 1 tank as well as most of the protective abilities in the game made supports much less fun. You are constantly dived with very little ways of escaping. There’s a reason why almost every match has a Moira, because she’s one of the few supports that stands a chance against a DPS diving them without need to get extremely lucky. Some Tanks feel completely overtuned, being virtually unkillable. Others (Doomfist, Wrecking Ball, Roadhog) feel much less tanky. DPS feels pretty much the same, but Blizzard introduced the most broken damage hero along side overwatch 2 that makes you feel like you need to pick her or you’re throwing (sojourn). It’s just ok. What was an 8/10 became a 6/10. I don’t want to wait 7 minutes to play, this is already causing a lot of frustration among streamers for the same reasons why D2 streamers were complaining about match times. Add on top of that no sense of progression, an all around worse comp leveling experience, and cosmetics being basically unobtainable without purchase. So yeah. I definitely think it’s slightly worse than the original.
