Instead bungie just added another sniper with more aim assist lol… -blam!- joke of a company

It has 41 aim assist dummy. That’s lower than all the other 45 zoom snipers out there. And it’s on the low end of AA for an aggressive frames, where most good ones rest in the 50s for aim assist. The only way your getting high aim assist is with targeting adjuster and targeting mods. Which at max bumps it up to a total of 56Aim assist. Which is still lower than almost every base sniper that’s in the top 10 usage in PvP

The aim assist stat in game is only directly comparable to others in that weapon type.

Bungie made it clear that zoom and range are the two main factors that determine how the AA value feels with snipers.[/quote] Edit: I mistakenly replied to something else’s entirely. My bad.

DReconにより編集済み: 10/28/2022 11:34:37 PMZoom modifies the AA cone and at what effective range it functions with, which in turn is affected by the range stat. I know how it works down to a T brother, I’m a sniper main in PvP and have been for years. If you have a maxed out range stat with a medium affective zoom stat, your sniper is going to be affective/consistent with AA at almost any range. That doesn’t mean, however, that 40 AA on an aggro frame is going to feel the same as 80 on a rapid frame. The difference is affective range AA, and AA consistency at different ranges. Mechabre ain’t broken in the slightest, and there’s not an argument you can make that would justifiably suggest otherwise. Also, on a side note, stability impacts flinch, and almost all aggressive frames have lower than 40 stability. There’s only a couple that have higher and those ones have very high zoom. With the new flinch nerf, its practically impossible to shoot through flinch with an Aggro frame sniper.

I’m not trying to say the new super is broken. I was completely misunderstanding what this conversation was, lol. I apologize.
