Bungie shifted their ways of funding production of Destiny from game purchases ( they didn't want to raise the cost they charge for their game) to micro-transactions. As long as they keep getting large amounts of revenue from these transactions - it will be what they put their focus into. Stop paying $17 for an armor set or only use bright dust. If the majority of the community did this they wouldn't continue to focus on micro-transactions as their main source of income.

I mean the focus might be on spending money but even the paid cosmetics are pretty lame most of the time. I think it’s bad for other reasons. The dev team working on events is probably very small. Other devs are probably working on the larger dlc, seasons, and bug fixes, leaving a small team to do events. Or maybe it’s because of too much work to do not enough time. Having to pump out content at a near constant rate is probably tiring and doesn’t leave much room for quality. Or maybe it’s because bungie hired devs that, while talented, weren’t fully ready for a game as large as destiny 2. Or maybe it’s because the engine is truly a pain to work with, as some people have stated in the past, and it takes forever to do simple tasks. Or maybe it’s because despite the low effort, bungie still has people playing… including me… Who knows for sure, maybe it’s all of these things. But I doubt eververse is the reason why events suck.

I am rarely influenced to buy stuff from eververse. Maybe learn more self control? If people don't buy the stuff, they will stop making it.

Its a business, where money can be made it will be, just be thankful its only cosmetics as it could easily be far far worse.

This is a free limited time event why would they pump a bunch of resources into something so inconsequential? All while Lightfall and Final Shape are slated for release within the next 2 years.

What's the point of having new armor sets if u can only buy them , it's pointless to put them in an event if ur just gonna charge us anyways. Plus the events are always the same -blam!- like everyone at Bungie quit already

Milking cow game. They know they have a broken and empty game. They have other projects that are more important for them than making new quality content for this game. Been playing this game for years, and when Activision left, I felt it then there’s nothing left here but a broken and empty milking cow game. Not only is this game a waste of money but also a waste of time. And I really don’t like waste. I’ve heard another word for waste is called garbage. Empty. Haha!🤣

It's the most epic event ever, FOTL 2022 is better than Age Of Triumph, TTK and Forsaken put together A++ on the Event Bungie, I would pay 5000 silver for that updated card, that apple bobbing emote is the best in the game, and that Cat sparrow is actually faster than Always On Time Now, I got to leave the forums to grind some haunted sectors, let's go!!!!!!!
