Now, off the bat, I love chomping on the baby fishes in Trials and Nonflawless alike but I understand that for the health and longevity of the playlist that changes are probably needed. Trials is a fun playlist but it's a very "high-risk / high reward" gamemode that can feel almost unapproachable to some.
To improve the overall feel and desire to play Trials, I suggest the following;
Freelance Pool becomes a Perm feature (this is just a given at this point)
Flawless Pool is removed
1. 7 wins, regardless of losses, drops the Adept Weapon for the week. Once the 7th win is hit, the card is auto reset back to 1 and you can start over again to grind the next. Also hitting 7 wins on a card, that has a loss, still has the chance, 10%, to drop Ascendant Shard as well.
If you hit 7 wins without a loss, granted access to the lighthouse. Once chest is opened, card is also auto reset.
2. Flawless chest - this is where going flawless really needs an improvement. I suggest making the flawless chest much more appealing;
When chest is opened you get the follow:
- Adept Weapon of the Week (with multi perks in both columns)
- Ascendant Shard
- 1 Guaranteed piece of 65+ High stat armor
- Adept Mod
However, the chest also has the chance to drop the following;
20% to Drop a Retired Trials Weapon Adept (astral, summoner, messenger etcc)
.01% to 5% chance to drop Ship, Sparrow, Ghosts and then add New shaders, Emblems and add back as an ornament previous seasons Armor.
Lastly, every third trials win should drop 1 Spoil so people can help farm these up if they are not big into PvE / Raiding.
What yall think? Making the Flawless Chest actually have items worth grinding for is a must, but also need to allow people to see some rewards for their grind - even if they can't hit 7 without losing.

Rainbine 9545により編集済み: 10/19/2022 5:08:55 PMI like the idea and gives people less hoops to jump though, since this is just my take on it since people for some reason puts trials and raid on the same level For raids you don’t need any of the flawless stuff to get the adept/ time lost stuff, just complete the activity, in this case the challenge And if you wanted the shader, do the raid flawless, want the ship, do it on master, you want the sparrow, do it flawlessly on master. All optional stuff to do if you want, none of it is needed for any of the weapons Trials, for some odd reason though needs you to do the same amount as a master raid. Not a normal raid so, if you do the planning doing the 7 wins makes sense for just the weapons, none of the cosmetic stuff

Why not add artifice armor? In general the endgame content rewards need to be balanced out a bit, it doesn't make sense to me that dungeons are the only place for artifice gear, and I stay away from PvP. The way I see it for PvE it should be: GMs give adept weapons, Master dungeons give artifice armor, Master raids give both. PvP could follow a similar path, comp (with the rework they have planned) could give adept weapons, Iron banner could give artifice armor, Trials would have both. Then have flawless chest give an adept weapon, artifice armor, and a chance at a mod and/or cosmetic.

7 通の返信Instead of the flawless chest giving old weapons i would like it to give adept trials armor that looks different from base armor and also has the extra mod slot like from master dungeons. That way flawless still has unique rewards from non flawless but still heavily incentives lower skilled players to keep chasing flawless

I doubt I’d touch trials still honestly. Trials would kill what’s left of my mental state. It’s considerably toxic and I don’t need ANOTHER reason to be disappointed and hate myself. I already suffer from depression and anxiety. It’s just not healthy for me to play regardless.

3 通の返信This would actually make me want to touch trials, as of right now I just pretend like it don't exist lol I'm not a fan of Destiny PvP do the minimum for pinnacles and that's it. Mind you that's if they have the matchmaking enabled for a solo que. Not gonna waste my time attempting to get flawless with the one now just not worth it to me at all.

1 返信SaintXにより編集済み: 10/18/2022 12:47:05 AMFor your 7 wins adept, add crafting at the lighthouse for trials weapons only, that are there that season. 7 non flawless wins gives adept, going flawless gives you red border of adept weapon that week once you hit 5 you can go to lighthouse to craft your weapon. edit: or just add red borders to the engrams also, but to craft you have to go flawless. Because let's be honest crafted weapons out shine there adept counter part. This way a casual like me once i see i can craft a summoner or any trials weapon that gives me an incentive to try and play trials to actually be able to craft the said weapon.

3 通の返信Seeing this sentiment more and more from Trials players. Love the ethos behind Trials (even if I dont really play it) but its clear that skill creep is an issue. Get it back to how it felt on week 1 of nu-trials ❤️
