How do you expect a player to complete the 3 seasonal weapons challenge when they dont drop?

I have been running ketchcrash and expedition on all three characters and completing master KC as well and I still haven't been able to unlock one seasonal weapon. Now that I get one guaranteed redbox per week I still wont be able to complete it. 60 days left, 8 weapons guaranteed won't complete the challenge when 5 are needed per weapon. Even on master KC it rarely drops a redbox. Please increase the drop rate so players can unlock the seasonal weapons. It's ridiculous to think the weapons aren't game breaking and yet they are so difficult to unlock.

I had 16 in my track and just claimed then one after the other, it gave like 4 reds. Also, instead of decrypting a specific weapon, just spend your plunder energy on the generic one. It costs less and it can drop a red. I only used the specific weapon decrypt at the end of the week to get one that gives me the last or next to last frame for a specific weapon. I have 4 craftable frames, 3 earned last week, and the rest at the 2/5, 3/5, or 4/5 point using this method. I just grind the hell out of that bonus plunder energy map in expedition. But, yeah, drop rates overall suck.🤷

Just as a reminder you actually have a lot longer than 60 days. We still have one more season after this one until the expansion comes out. Because of this, all seasonal activities and any challenges that reward upgrades are still available in the upcoming season (as well as the ability to get this season's weapons/deepsight). You're also still able to complete the scallywag triumph next season if that's a goal you have. You still have a valid complaint regarding rng and a lack of guaranteed drops opportunities. Along with the fact that doing some things outside of the season can be a major pain. But I hope this reminder can still mitigate some stress you may be feeling to get this done.

I got all the patterns by just doing ketch and maps.. there's a map that gives weapons, or you can go for energy and buy the weapons yourself. Either way it's random on whether or not it drops deepsighted. Just have to put the time in.

21 通の返信Run the weapon map in expedition. I got a red border every 3 runs if you picked smart upgrades that increase seasonal weapon drops.

I've been lucky enough to scrap together 3, but as my wife tells me - I've been playing way too much this season... I've gotten red bars from various locations including from the Helm. Cash in your rank-up engrams if you haven't - I picked up several red borders from those. My biggest issue with this system is the duplicates. I got the machine gun and shotgun done first and from that point on what seemed like 50% of my red bar drops were still the shotgun and machine gun... It would be nice if once you complete the weapon it locks it until all weapons are done to prevent duplicate drops!

This season is by far the worst so far when it comes to grinding. It's not even close. I gave up on it long time ago. It's boring as F.

I was lucky enough to be able to complete it, but, a lot of people won't have been. I get the feeling they looked at past seasons and based the requirement around how fast you could realistically be expected to complete 3 weapons to level ten, forgetting that they didn't have a definite way to get a weekly weapon. I'm one of those things that will look at things on a microscale, then at a macro scale, and keep zooming in and out until I get a picture of how every component effects everything else, I get the impression that bungie doesn't have a person working for them who does that.
